DeleteAround Corner-Stone axis yesterday as I walked down the road looking for where to buy breakfast, I noticed over 30 persons all struggling to get money from a POS operator. I was wondering why the crowd and what they're doing. If government have introduce another biometric registration again.
ReplyDeleteWhen I watched closely, I saw a signpost that reads;
POS: 3,000 = N50
10,000 = N150
30,000 = N300
Etc.
I said no wonder the crowd. I'm sure the operator gets money easily from bank hence the low charges. In Port Harcourt here 10,000 is charged @N300. So seeing someone doing 30,000 @N300 you'll understand the reason for the crowd.
I think 50,000 is N400 there as against the N1,000 others charge. Only one who gets money easily from bank can give such reductions.

Yesterday in the market,I saw some people hawking peak milk yoghurt 4 in a pack for 1k, I was like wow this is cheap, people were rushing it and I decided to check it out too, I collected one pack and was looking for expiry date, the guy selling told me it doesn't have, they've probably cleaned it, omo na so I quickly drop it, may we not buy subsidized sickness , 4 for 1k kidney problem.

🎯A couple of months ago, a new neighbour moved in to our previous house and she engaged the service of a painter to repaint the apartment...Only this guy will come very early in the morning and would leave around 7pm in the evening..One day, My wife and I decided to check the apartment and see what the guy was doing..Behold, it has become a beautifully transformed apartment looking so great..

Me and My wife were shocked..
What we were seeing was already looking perfect but this guy was not done yet...
That day, I collected his number immediately..
I told him we have a work to give him but now now..Few months after, we called him and he was the one who handled the painting of the whole house for us .
✅No connection..
✅No pleading..
✅Just purely the quality of his job..
Why am I sharing this with you❓
So you can know that that break through you are looking for is sometimes in the quality of your handwork❗
You are praying for God to bless the work of your hand but when they come, you focus primarily on money and mess up their expectations...
Stop doing your works anyhow❗
Pay attention to details and always deliver beyond expectations...

We took someone to emergency ward, the only doctor and nurse on call were so busy leaving us at the mercy of IT students who were arguing amongst themselves on what to do.

ReplyDeleteWas going through posts yesterday and saw somewhere you mentioned the cost of inhaler.
Is yours Salbutamol?
If yes,are you aware it has a tablet which is way more cheaper?
I don't know how severe yours is;but check with your doctor for recommendations ok;a sachet is less than #200(maybe slightly higher now) and adults usually take two tablets before attack gets aggressive.
You can check with your Doc,so you can know how to substitute the inhaler and the tablets if possible for you.

DeleteThanks Martins. I have stopped using the drugs, cos I noticed when I take it my heart beats fast. Told my pulmologist about it, and he told me to stop taking it. He recommended Fortide to be used daily, and Ventolin inhaler for emergencies. Thanks for this. Appreciate it.
