I was very kind and selfless before but people around me and people I met made me realize that I have to put myself first. If you keep giving with no boundaries they will keep taking and discard you when you are no longer useful to them. When I was down no one was by my side despite helping many of them when I was ok. Now I have a good paying job, bought my own house and two brand new cars paid in full and people are flocking around me again but I pay them no mind. I have learned to put myself first and realized that I only got myself.
