Karma is not selective. People suffer in various ways they won’t share. For instance, there was someone who gossiped about me years ago, with her “friends”. Down the line, those friends stopped telling her their gist and avoided her. She is “doing well” oh…. Life, job, married, kids. But she lost a whole group of friends, most of which were from childhood. Of course she tries to make new friends, but you know how this thing is, as one gets older? People are less and less genuine. And all her old friends say is: make she no do us like she do that babe (that babe here is me). She has tried to make peace with me. I know it’s not because she likes or misses me. She just wants her old friends to see us together and start thinking that she is on her best behaviour, so they can stop whispering about her wickedness to me. But I’ve curved her everywhere.
So in this case, loneliness is her karma. Suspicion is her karma, excommunication from bosom friends is her karma, a lack of intimacy is once intimate friendship, is her karma. So karma would never come in the way you expect and that’s why we think it doesn’t come. But it comes back in other ways that we don't expect and others don’t see.
