Nigerians across the country are groaning as the cost of Premium Motor Spirit (Petrol) has hit over N1000 per liter in many parts of the country.
This is as Dangote Refinery offers the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited a lifeline to exit the petrol importation burden.


The senator representing Ebonyi South, Anthony Okorie Ani, has urged Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Tinubu’s administration. He assured fellow citizens that the President’s policies would soon begin to yield positive results.

The Federal Government on Monday charged 10 #EndBadGovernance protesters with counts bordering on treason before Justice Emeka Nwite of a Federal High Court, Abuja. The Federal Government, through the Inspector-General (IG) of Police, arraigned the defendants in a charge marked: FHC/ABJ/CR/454/2024 filed on August 30.

 Boko Haram terrorists were said to have killed many villagers, mainly farmers, and set houses and shops ablaze at Mafa village in Tarmuwa Local Government Area of Yobe State on Sunday. Security agencies confirmed the attack on Monday, but could neither give the details of the attack nor confirm the casualty figures.

The Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC) has arrested the headmaster of Gaidar Makada Special Primary School in Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano for allegedly selling the school’s assets. A statement by the spokesperson of the commission, Kabir Abba Kabir, on Saturday, said the arrest followed the discovery of a disturbing scheme involving the illicit sale of vital school assets.

Senator Ishaku Abbo, a former Nigerian lawmaker, who represented the Adamawa North Senatorial District, has denied an allegation of s#xual scandal with a married woman.
A viral video clip that captured a light-skinned man gbenshing an alleged married woman surfaced on the Internet last week.
Another video clip that emerged on X on Monday captured a woman alleging that she was s#xually harassed by the former lawmaker.
The woman accused Abbo of using the video clip to bl#ckmail her.
 Abbo vehemently denied the viral video and accused his political opponents of plotting to damage his reputation.
“How can you identify a person without seeing his face, his body, only parts of his legs and you said it is Senator Abbo.
“Bl#ckmail cannot stop me from winning elections. A senator from one of the northern states was shown in a s#x video with his entire body, but he still won an election to the Senate, and his wife won an election to the House of Representatives.
“My people love me. No amount of blackmail can stop me,” he insisted.

 Traders at a popular market in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, lamented their losses on Monday when their over 40 shops were completely razed to the ground after a fire incident. Though no life was lost, the incident, which happened on Saturday, at the popular Oranyan Market herbal section, in the Ibadan North East Local Government Area of the state, destroyed multi-million naira property and herbs.

 Justice Deinde Dipeolu of the Federal High Court in Lagos on Monday granted N20m bail to two staff members of Keystone Bank Limited, Ebele Okpala and Perpetua Onyeto, over alleged obtaining of N35m. Okpala and Onyeto were granted bail after their counsel argued the bail application brought before the court.

Akwa Ibom State civil servants have described as “disturbing” the perceived silence of Governor Umo Eno over the implementation of the new minimum wage of N70,000 in the state.
They vowed to embark on industrial action if the state government remained mum and refused to do the needful.

    Kidnapping and killings everywhere.
    People can't even go to their farms again.
    Hunger, fuel price, medical bills, transportation ECT. Yet, na talk talk we dey hear. But when it comes to private jet and looting, you will be Swift.👽

  3. It’s the lack of sympathy that drives me crazy. Early last year, fuel was sold for N167. In just 12 months, it is now over N1000, and there are still queues.

    Is it that the Government is out to destroy Nigerians or what? How can you hate your citizens so much that you don’t care if they live or die.

    What in the world did we do to deserve these wicked leaders!
