Watching the paralympics is a wholesome and life-changing experience. It's so heartwarming to see people who have turned their disability into glorious purpose.
ReplyDeleteThe Paralympics doesn't get the fanfare and glitz of the Olympics, and e no make sense in my opinion. The things these disabled athletes do, is awe-inspiring.
I wish the IOC will give more publicity to the Paralympics, and make it more prominent than it is currently.

Phoenix, I think the burden is on me the primary source who makes the posts to watch the words i use but i am just pleading that we all keep it tidy..I dont even know which words i am restricted from using but i can guess cos i already avoid a lot of words when making posts and sometings twist the spellings.....for example i use gbensh and knack insitead of using the three letter English word...u get?

He is the disciple who sank in the Sea of Galilee, but he is the only disciple who walked on water. It's so easy to criticise people from the comfortable confines of the boat.
As we journey in our faith walk, we can choose to be creators or criticisers - creators take a risk and get out of the boat; criticisers are more likely to stay in the boat and criticise those stepping out. When everything is said and done, our greatest regrets will be the God-ordained risks we didn't take. German author Johann Wolfgang von Goethe said, 'Hell begins the day that God grants you the vision to see all that you could have done, should have done, and would have done, but did not do.' What is leading you to do? What is the persistent prompting of the Holy Spirit urging you to do?
Failing to take a faith-based risk is like permanently misplacing a piece from the jigsaw puzzle of your life. It leaves a disappointing hole. When you reach the end of your life, your biggest regret will be those missing pieces. So today, take stock of your faith journey, then go ahead and take a faith-based risk, knowing that 'God's Spirit doesn't make cowards out of us. The Spirit gives us power, love and self-control' (2 Timothy 1:7 CEV) to do what you need to.

Good win for Madrid, they will still find their rhythm as the season progresses. Lastly, for Chelsea, they just have to realize Jackson shouldn't be at the fore front of their striking force as his technical ability and decision making is below average for a team like Chelsea.

ReplyDeleteDear Lord, As our children are going back to school for a new session, those who are going to school for the first time. We ask that you protect them every step of the way.
1. God we ask that you protect our children on their daily commute to school and those in boarding schools. May you guide them in going out and coming in.
2. May they have an excellent spirit like Daniel in the scriptures. May they excel and experience academic fulfillments, accolades and laurels especially those prepping for Common Entrance, JSSE, WAEC/NECO and JAMB.
3. May our children not succumb to any addictions, peer pressure, cults, gangs or other social vices while in school. May they be useful to themselves, their parents and society.
4. Lord please guide our teachers, proprietors and all school administrators to do the right thing always with our children. We pray for wisdom, knowledge and have a sense of safety & security upon them so we don't record avoidable deaths.
5. Lord our parents have spent a lot i.e money, resources to provide the best of their children. Continue to provide them and may their pockets never be empty. As their children are like arrows in their hands, may they guide them aright and enjoy the fruit of their labour.
6. Lord protect our children against sexual predators, evil adults hunting children to take away their innocence and destroy them. May they be exposed and face their punishments here on earth.
We pray in the name of the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit (Amen)
