MADAM AMEBO CORNER
Good day Stella, hope you slept well? I saw something beautiful the other day, I have this neighbor at the shop, she's known for being troublesome, infact she can quarrel from morning till night, e be like tomtom to her soul....
I have this aged woman that comes to buy one sugarless biscuit from me, so as usual the mama parked her vehicle and I was packing up the biscuits for her while my neighbor was doing was she knows how best to do, I noticed that mama kept staring at her...
Suddenly mama came down from her car and asked me to call the woman for her, I told her it would be better to call my village Chief priest than to call that woman but she insisted, so I went and called her, surprisingly she came that instance, mama told her that the other day she caught her yelling like this and today again she's on it, she asked her what she's bitter about, the woman said the person that provoked her called her barren, that even her husband calls her that too and it makes her really upset to hear anybody call her that, she said she doesn't get love or attention at home and it makes her really bitter....

So mama told her that people's opinion should not matter to her, she told her a few stories about life but the one that caught my interest was her ex-husband, she said the man was sent to India for education but couldn't complete cos the person financing his education died and he became stranded, so she took over, made sure he graduated, they came to Nigeria and got married, she also sent him to law school, paid the fees, and after school, she used her connections to get him a very beautiful job but he never spent a dime on her, he would always tell her that it's foolishness to pick stones and throw into the ocean that you will never find it after....

She said they stayed for years and the man never complained about their inability to have kids, even when she complained, the man would tell her that they were fine and kids will come when it will come...
Years later, she had a church program that would take her away for days, she packed her stuff and her husband drove her to the church vehicle, they kissed and said goodbye, while at the prayer camp, they were communicating well, only for her to come back and find out that this man has moved out of their matrimonial home, though the house belongs to the woman, he moved everything that belongs to him, so she called him to ask what went wrong, but he told her that she will be served the divorce papers soon, the woman said she cried so much and questioned God but later moved on.
She adopted two kids, a boy and a girl and joy found her again,
She later found out that her husband had another woman and was milking her to raise a family with that woman, they have 6kids , she said when she found out that he's been using her, she decided to create her own happiness and today she has no regrets, sometimes you don't have to allow people or conditions of life define you and give you a name that is not yours..

She gave the woman her number and told her that if she ever considered adopting, she should give her a call and she will help her both financially and otherwise, ever since then, a lot changed about this woman, she became more nice, happier and lively, sometimes the people we term angry and unhappy have pains they don't wanna share with anyone, and what the elder sees is deep...
If anyone had told me that this woman was not born to be that quarrelsome, I for no gree ooo.. no matter what you're facing in life, please be happy, create your own happiness, Help will come, there will be joy in the morning...

This is what a lot of women are going through.....I know someone in this same psotion and i pestered her to adopt and do surrogacy...The story is different today....Sometimes na money to hold some women down wey dem no fit adopt or do surrogacy..Some women are married to men who dont waana hear the wordadopt

GIST
I worked for someone as a nanny, in a family house, the lady lived with her sister in-law, mother and father in-law and her husband and child.
Her husbands babymama frustrated the woman so she left with her child and the baby mama quickly moved in. Her in-laws welcomed the babymama and were even calling her iyawo till their son in a different state came to stay with them.

It wasn’t long they began to quarrel and fight with the babymama, the man started accusing the babymama of using juju that made him have problems with his wife so he went back to his wife and they rented a different accommodation where they started living.
The babymama got frustrated and started pouring her frustration on everyone in the house including my innocent self.
She will quarrel with the father and mother of her baby papa including the baby papa elder brother that returned to stay with them. The guy told me he started pouring early morning urine in the woman’s cooked food cos she cooks differently ( I’ve caught him before sha).
I pleaded with him to stop cos her child/ his brother’s child also eat the food but he refused and promised to kee the woman silently since she chose to be insulting his parents in his presence.
I had to quit the job cos it was draining my mental health.
I later heard they fought with the babymama and ended up in police so she had to leave their house.

FROM THE COMMENT SECTION
Please I'm worried for my elder sister. She wakes up goes to the gym on empty stomach and workout for 3hrs I'll ask her why she stays so long in the gym she'll say it's because she was on the treadmill for 2hrs!!! I was like aunty on empty belly? I'll ask her what she wants to eat she'll say anything small and light. BTW she's 53. Should I be worried about her? Is she well?

Does she look well?

  10. Now I think I understand the why when people get heartbroken over and over, they get scared to love again. I don't know if this above analogy fits, but the way I am feeling right now after being betrayed five different times on this blog by those who give movie recommendations is indescribable. I doubt I will ever be able to trust some movie critics here again.

First was Maharaja. It was so hyped by one bv who I think has a sugar-coated tongue. I fell flat for his flattery, Fiam! I rushed to watch it, but it was a total letdown.

Then another came to deceive me while I was still getting over the shock of the first one. Innocent me fell again.πŸ₯Ή

Then a few days ago, another bv appeared like sunshine, spoke like an angel, and hyped Rebel Ridge. Hmm. To think I slept through it. I tried to force myself to watch it but fell asleep four times after every attempt until I deleted it. If not for the lead actor whose beautiful eyes brought me relief. Ordinary movie and I am feeling like this. So heartbroken, betrayed, and deceived.

  11. I am proud to announce that I have finally roofed ‘my house’.

Getting to the roofing stage, I started having sleepless nights on how I was going to raise the money because before then, it had been little bits of money here and there that didn’t really do any drastic damage to my finances. 100k here, 200k there, 50k here, 120k there etc so there was no serious issues for me.

The first quote I got for the roofing basically threw me off because it was in millions. How am I supposed to raise that without taking a loan? So I asked them (the real owners) to give me time to save up the money. Months later, told them to call the carpenter because I was now ready (in my head, I don save up their quote plus a little extra incase prices went up). To my surprise, the new quote had doubled in price. I couldn’t cry! I wanted to ask for more time to raise the extra but then I was worried about another increase. So we divided the roofing into two phases and I sent some money and asked them to do the first part. Same day, I wondered if I wasn’t being penny wise and pound foolish since the next phase would have also gone up again when I’m able to raise another cash. I just closed my eyes, apologized to my already depleted bank account, took the balance from it and sent to my brother and asked them to do all at once. That was how I successfully roofed a full building without any help and any debt.

I know it’s a piece of cake for a lot of you but for me, it’s a very big deal.

It’s now the real work begins. I wondered maybe if I had actually realized how much I’d be spending with proper calculations, I wondered if I would have started this at all because the subsequent phases are very very scary, financially but agbara Olorun ka!

The worst and most painful expense for me was the money I had to budget and pay Omo onile (those sorry excuses of human beings).

They sent me the video of the completed roofing and I’ve been watching and rewatching. Coupled with this, I did a 360 renovation of their current living room, from painting to change of furniture, curtains etc.

Na woman I be abeg!!!!! No kidding!

Those of u that underrate female children, continue oh! Just continue! The moment you realise both sexes deserve the same attention, the moment you will realise how much u are doing!!!!

Guys, I owe you people oh, I owe and I will come and properly celebrate here soon. Na one small thing dey hold me first!

  20. If you don't want kids yet as a man, why is it mandatory to explain to the woman that you don't want kids? Why the unnecessary explanation when all you have to do is use a condom? When she sees you doing that, she doesn't need a soothsayer to tell her what time it is because that singular act of yours will automatically tell her you are not playing.

You can pretend you didn't bother because you 'chose to trust' your girlfriend but it is simply because you don't want to use a condom and you would rather put the burden of preventing pregnancy off your neck and place it on her neck instead. Because you selfishly think resorting to warning her is the safest option for you. You carelessly leave your fate in the hands of another, lazily placing the burden of safety on the woman alone while hoping she would help secure both her end and yours.

The lady should cater for the baby all by herself before she was warned and be ready to accept whatever response she gets from the man because he already made it clear from the onset his stance. You as the man don't have to accept the child if you don't want to, but it doesn't change the fact that you have become a baby daddy yourself and have a child somewhere out there in the world at the end of the day.

The responsibility of preventing pregnancy is on both the man and the woman in such a case as this. Even after letting the woman know you don't want kids, still protect yourself. Pity the children you are birthing who will grow up being deprived of both parents.

    1. Don't mind the yeye men
They don't want kids ,yet they are knacking raw, they want the woman to damage her fertility with drugs. You want to enjoy raw knacking but you don't want to pay the price. Kwantinu!

Whether you like it or not, you will become a baby daddy, if you like, abandon the child, you would be termed a deadbeat father and you may be unlucky to have your face plastered on the social media like the recent "daddy twins"

  23. Don’t get comfortable in dysfunction. You have to stir yourself up. You have greatness in you. You were created to shine, to leave your mark, to take your family to a new level. I know there are seasons of struggle, enduring, being faithful, but that season is not supposed to last a lifetime. There’s about to be a shift. Strongholds are being broken. Negative mindsets are coming down. Healing is on the way. Promotion is coming. You’re not going through another year being restricted, confined, limited. God is doing a new thing.

    1. I don't know his reasons but 60% of these so called private schools are not suppose to be called schools. My street alone have 5 private schools. Let me not go further.

Government and NUC should also do something about all these over night universities pooping up at every corner. Very soon we will have university at every street.

  45. Guys I need advice please. 🀲
So I've been training with a tutor who teaches how to make perfumed candles.
The tutor is nice and I've thoroughly enjoyed the training.
Last week he called me and said that since I'm starting out on my own in this business , how about he handles the production while I focus on marketing of my candles.

Please note he has his own business and it's doing well.
What he wants to do is produce for me then I take and brand and market.
Please what are the disadvantages ir advantages of this?
Is this safe or a no no.
Because my plan was to start on my own, even though my budget and space is very small.
Is there any advantage/disadvantage in this?
This is my first time doing business so I really need all the advise I can get.🀲
    Thank you.

    1. Did he teach you how to produce? If yes , please produce your product , at least you’d be practicing what you learnt , and also make more money. There’s a lot of advantage in being a producer or manufacturer, except you don’t have the funds to do it.

    2. From what I know and seen. . They mean well for you. While still learning, start selling their products and build your client base. From selling their products, you will get commission, save more money and start your own later with ease. When you build. your client base it will be easier to sell your own products. Don't rush to open your own company without being sure of your own personal customers. That is why most businesses that started in large scale do not survive.
