INEC Declares Senator Okpebholo As New Gov Of Edo State

On Sunday September 22, 2024, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo winner of Saturday’s Edo State Governorship Election.


Returning Officer, Prof. Faruk Adamu Kuta, the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, officially announced Okpebholo winner of the election.
This is as the results from all 18 Local Government Areas of the state showed that the Okpebholo won eleven LGAs to defeat the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, Asue Ighodalo and Olumide Akpata of the Labour Party.

  7. PDP should look into the result of Etsako East....That is APC stronghold but then where did about 6k votes disappear to which I expected the PDP Party agent to highlight....Congratulations to him.....Let him do the right thing always....
