Mrs Sharon, I no get recipes o. I just try to exercise, and eat healthy, lots of fruits and veggies too. I do OMAD (one meal a day: lunch). And I do a lot of teas too. Some days I do cheat days, where I can eat anything. Just find what works for you

ReplyDeleteI was in Lagos Island today , I am always happy when I got things to buy in Lagos Island, I visited the place I was born, my primary school, (Balogun Market, St Paul's breadfruit Nur/Pri scl.)those places will used to run around to play and I can tell you today was fun to me because strolling past those places brings a lot of old, amazing memories . I think I will find time to talk about my childhood here one day, I had the most wonderful childhood ever.
I ca feel the joy in your words. Travelling old roads can be a great experience. Glad Lagos gave you some fun today.

To think is because of transportation every other price went up . May help continue to come from above for us

There is always a reason to eat yellow yam. I went to the store here in the abroad and it was $7/lb. I bought one very small one and another 3 inches length cut and the total was $20 at the register. Thank goodness it was not rotten on the inside because you know yam is always full of surprises. To think my parents are farmers and we have yam in excess back home.

DeleteDoing laundry, 'working' and waiting for my nieces to watch and be silly with. Recently I have gotten a strong urge to buy houseplants. I am not good with plants but got two and looking for some more low maintenance plants. Then I saw a YouTube video with a woman who lived on this property with an amazing showcase garden, she had lots of land like I love, now I want an amazing showcase garden. I am not sure why a horticulturalist is budding in me all of a sudden, I love plants, flowers and trees but never thought to curate a garden before. Who the heck am I becoming?

Life is hard. I struggle to care for myself and my two siblings alone since our parents died. Now I have lost my job due to the situation in Nigeria. We were given our letters this morning. I am crying as I type because how to cater for our needs when they refuse to pay us our salary. I have just 10k left in my account, our house rent is due next month. I was thinking the August salary would cover it, but now everything has changed 😭😭😭. I cannot sleep as I'm crying while typing this. I'm tired of life right now, but who will take care of my two siblings? I'm holding myself because of them. God, please help your child 😭
