  5. I’m telling you!
I always accept abusive men and abusive friends in my life. While I am trying to help, they start to bleed on me. The moment I leave, they come with apologies and explanations. Infact, they don’t want to let me go.

This 2024, I checked myself into therapy. And cut off all abusers, even family members. I have abusive siblings (verbal, financial and physical) but my mother would be telling me to bear with them. And making me feel partly responsible for their bad decisions.

This 2024, I warned my mother and all them off. I’ve been very lonely and I wonder if I would ever have fun times again. But I like the peace I have now. Its priceless. Once I spot abusive behaviour in anyone, I pick race. I don’t wait to hear explanations because once you keep your ear down for someone to explain, they think you understand and accept. Never again!
