ReplyDeleteThere was a time in my life that i don't have a relationship with God. I was only going to church for miracles. Sentimentally, I desire to be loved and also love. I was really desperate for marriage in my 20s. I want to share one of the experiences that made me stopped attending physical church till this moment. Sometimes in 2020, i changed church. I left the church i was going with my mom to start a fellowship somewhere else. I wanted a church i could be myself and also be able to socialise freely. So i picked a church far away from home though same denomination as my former church. I was attending the church and at times i wait for conselling sessions with the lead pastor. Through that, i got his number and we sometimes talk on WhatsApp. This had been going on for a while and i have started to feel at home. Then, one day i had an attack in my dream. I prayed about it but i was still worried, so, i chatted him up. I narrated the dream to him, his reply shocked me. He replied " pack an overnight bag because you will be staying the night and go to work from there". So i asked him " where is that?". I was expecting answers like prayer mountain or church. But he replied me " we are going to hotel ". Mehn!!! I was confused momentarily. Like what??? So he asked if I'm up for it. Of which i replied with a No. Well, una know say i love clarity π€£. Make my inquisition no keee me one day. The next Sunday, i was in church and after the service i waited for counselling or should i just write "clarity" hahahahaha π. So it got to my turn, i asked him what he meant by our recent conversation. Well, he actually knew what he was talking about. According to him, God has released my blessings to him and i needed to have a sexual relationship with him to acquire my blessings. Truly, God is mysterious! So i asked him, if God could bless people through sexual sins, why did He condemn it? Na so his countenance change immediately, i acted like i don't what i did. So i apologise and claimed i just wanted to sure. Of course, he could not come up with any explanation. I left. The next program(vigil) we had in church, na me he take preach. According to him, he wanted to help my life but i was asking mundane questions. Of course, he wasn't specific, I was there nah but i know say me the stray bullet dey come for. Well, i kept apologising. I can be brash but when it involve men of God (self acclaimed or God's calling) i like to be careful. Most of them can be dangerous. He accepted my apologies and began talking again. Apparently, he was trying to show me the secret of the altar but i was reading too much of bible, according to him. Ladies and gentlemen, i don't even have a personal relationship with God then. After Sunday service, my bible remain closed till the next one. But that doesn't mean i wont be aware of the ten commandments and how God frown upon adultery. And logically, even if pastor wan knack me, don't i deserve more efforts?? Isn't that gimmick too cheap? I just kept my reservations to myself and made a resolution within myself aswell. I kept talking to him but i was looking for a tangible excuse. I don't want to leave abruptly, he would know i had left because of his sex advances. Fortunately, there was a movement restriction due to covid-19. Na so i was saved by the "Virus". Why did i share this?
I have written this here before, about how I came to the conclusion that I can NEVER end up with a particular girl I really liked and was pvssywhiped back then cos the babe too sweet, in fact I been feeling say na JuJu cos how I go dey moan like id!ot bcos of soft bunda and pumpum.. God abeg o lol , tho she's married now and in UK with her bobo,.

I just took it that she's a fetish person, plus she's always making excuses for hook-up ladies when I say they're doing it out of greed and even blame men whenever these girls end up being used for rituals or whatever, so I also concluded that she must be involved codedly too.. someone from a prominent home o that went to an expensive private uni to be these senseless and gullible.. waste of funds..
But there was just one problem I had to f!ght.. I was a finished man already lol.. thank God the devil lost the battle last last..

Thank God you escaped shebi that was how one CAC pastor advised me to sleep with my ex fiance then because Mary was already found with a child before she married Joseph, I was still a virgin then ohh, he Insisted I should give in before marriage since we were getting married in two months time, that was the last time I went to that church, this was 2010, because he wanted me to marry his spiritual son, this is how people miss it!

Helen, thank God for the grace to avert that situation. Imagine!!! But I'm not surprised, I know a pastor that kept telling his congregation that anytime his sons are ready to marry. The ladies they will marry must be pregnant before they will be introduced to him. He wanted them to be pregnant even before they will be brought home. That's his belief.

DeleteIt's very sad that some pastors would use their position to take advantage of people who haven't yet matured in their Christian faith. This is why due diligence has to be made before anyone gets appointed/anointed as one, and not because they have the gift of the gab, are very adroit in weaving biblical words together, and can pray till the sun goes down.
Your story reminds me of when I newly joined a church years back. We, the new members, were welcomed by some pastors in the church and the greeters' committee. Later, we were told we needed to attend the Sunday classes for a few weeks before we could join a unit in the church.
I desired to be active, so I obliged. The first day of class after the Sunday service, somehow I found myself tutored separately by a pastor in his 30s, I think. Instead of commencing with the teachings, he quizzed me about unrelated matters. People in the church saw him seated in front of me holding the Bible while talking, but had no idea what that man was telling me.
He told me that whenever I decided to get married, I must choose a pastor. I was shocked. He noticed my facial expression and asked if nobody had ever given me that divine revelation before. I smiled and thanked him for being kind enough to reveal such a 'divine' message to me. He said I should take what he said seriously, that a pastor must be my husband.
Mind you, he was a pastor and unmarried, and I was not oblivious to his intense stare, even though he tried to be discreet. The man did not care if I was in a relationship, nor did he care if I had become saved.
It perplexed me, and I promised myself to avoid him. He made an effort for us to be friends afterward, but I was not having it, so he got tired and left me alone.
People need to be really careful because there are a lot of wolves in sheep's clothing.

ReplyDeleteBecause i want to share my personal conception, i don't believe in condemning people and how they choose to walk with God. Even with this personal experience, if that pastor is expose tomorrow, i won't be part of those that will castigate him. Do you know why? Even though he wanted to take advantage of my vulnerability, he never forced me to do his bidding. The moment i asked him that question, he already knew i won't be falling for his trick. If you're lucky to have a personal relationship with God and possess the spirit of discernment, don't be so quick to condemn others. Don't be eager to judge others by the way they chose to serve God. God don't reason the like we do. I don't like it when Men of faith are put up for drags. As far they aren't forcing anyone, Let God fight for himself. That battle is not for anyone but God alone. Y'all will be amazed if i claim, I never knew about that Pastor Jeremiah till VDM started dragging him. It was when the brouhaha start that a page i followed on IG posted the snippet of his tiktok live. In the video he was advertising Red sea water. To say i was gobsmacked was an understatement. The same Red sea that had a negative representation in the bible. I stand to be corrected, Red sea has always been known to connote stagnation, delay and whatnot. Yet the man claimed the water can perform miracles. As how??? Would anyone serving God not pastors fall for that??? Sincerely, i don't blame the Pastor because his strategies had already exposed him but In as much as i would like to write about the gullibles, i don't want to condemn or judge anyone because i don't know what life have put them through. We are all works in progress, no one is perfect. VDM, should leave the pastor for his members. Let God avenge for himself. Please let's be conscious of how we criticised people and the way they practice their faith/beliefs.

It was a well known fact before he was born.
