  2. Sister I feel you and understand every bit of what you are going through because exactly thesame thing happened to me (although my marriage lasted for 2 years with a lot of emotional torture)
    God is indeed our strength
He gives his toughest battles to his best generals
    Hang in there
There is light at the end of this tunnel ( although I haven’t gotten to the end of the tunnel myself)
I pray for grace daily to be able to carry this responsibility and the stigma that comes with all of it

May God restore all you lost.

    1. They didn’t do traditional marriage. Probably the parents didn’t approve so they didn’t do Iju ese. Also I suspect it’s a bit hard to do iju ese with intertribal marriages because it’s a bit hard to trace them down to their villages and people that know them

  12. Someone who knows this guy personally said this lady is not his first victim. Apparently, she is the 4th. He is very much alive and still in lagos.

This is why due diligence and exhaustive background checks are important.

  15. Madam don't worry, God is still the ruler of the universe and he is in charge.
i laugh sometimes when I hear people say, there's no law of karma, then they can also say, there is no law of gravity.
As long as you are here on earth, you are under those laws, whatever you sow,, you reap except God himself, intervenes and mercy speaks for you!

  16. Well, there are all kind of ways to be a scammer and we all know romance scammers exists. They are not only online, they are offline too. Seems like he wiped her bank account clean and carted off everything that was not screwed down when she was away from the home. That is some traumatic event right in the midst of a pregnancy and the glow of a new marriage. This is why I stopped jumping to attribute seeming good things to God until the truth of them are fully disclosed. I bet she was thanking God for answering her prayers and uncovered. connecting her to her husband, and obviously God had nothing to do with this mess.

My heart feels her pain. I really wish her and the child all the best.

    1. Get sense, una refuse and insist on holding on to stupidity. Can't you see it desperation placed on single ladies that pushed her to marry a man she didn't know well? Or you feel those that married at 18 and 19 haven't encountered problems as well?
