The latest crisis became public after Paul Okoye revealed in an interview that the group has broken up again while accusing his twin brother, Peter Okoye of dragging him and their elder brother, Jude Okoye, to EFCC over alleged fraudulent dealings.
Peter Okoye responded by writing an open letter to his twin brother, Paul accusing him of tarnishing his image and says that he and their elder brother, Jude, collaborated to defraud him.
Peter also made a post explaining all that transpired and one can conclude that their recent brouhaha has to do with money and diverted earnings from Royalties...

There was absolutely no topic he has been dragged for that he didn’t touch with clear explanations. Funny thing is that, the people he mentioned are alive and if he’s lying, they can easily come and state that.

DeleteThey created a company/record label. He has 40, they have 60, they signed on it. He invested and is reaping investment dividends. Same as any other record label(which is why artists always fight their bosses: no be today).
What Peter could have done is to leave and create his own and release new music under the new label. But no. He wants Jude to stop receiving his dividends. E no dey happen. Many huge artists today Taylor swift etc had their old labels still receiving 💯 royalties from the songs they released under them. Taylor swift had to re-record her old songs in order to fix this issue. The law is the law. It is what it is.
As for his wife being a member, he opened another company through which he receives his own share of dividends. His wife is part of it. Which is something most guys here cannot relate with.

That 40💯 is too much even though they are siblings, Daviod sacked his manager because of similar things. he should have allowed the twins brothers to decide on the amount to pay him, even if you wanted more money, you should have done it properly. Why would Peter report to EFCC in the first, something triggered him. I also believe he must have been asking you for the money and you were not cooperating and probably you are giving him l don't care attitude and maybe you told Peter to do his worst, seeing that he Peter doesn't want trouble now decided to involve the EFCC to peaceful get his morning back. Everybody can't be a fighter, also Peter should have nvolve a family member first and if the family member couldn't resolve the issue by telling Oga Jude to refund Peter's money, then Peter can involve another authority to retrieve his money back.

And there was also a payment that Peter required from the company involved to pay his directly to his account which they did and then his and Paul’s were paid into their account. P Square was an international brand with global recognition so why they the twins agree on 40% to Jude??? What was Jude role in the business that he had to earn 40%??? Didn't they have an agreement papers signed? If he was their manager, like Asa Asika is to Davido, should he earn more than the Artiste Duo? No. Rihanna, Beyoncé, Taylor swift and all artistes have Managers and they are paid salaries. Even if equity is part of their remuneration it can never be a higher % or even close % to what the artistes made.

This is exactly what Nigerian politicians do daily, among ethnic groups! Divide the people to continue stealing. He never attended one twin’s wedding, I followed it all on Bella Naija. Dear Peter, I just want to talk to you like a sister. In this life, money is paper. I know that we all need money to buy stuffs and cater to our families but money is not everything. I understand your take on this matter but Jude is your brother. No matter what, whether he be member of the group or not, would you like to see him suffer? Why don't you all share the money equally. If he was your younger brother and needed you to care for him, won't you take care of him and make him live a quality life? A lots of people have helped and build their younger ones to excel in their career, field or any other profession without going this route which Jude is taking, he's intimidating them as the elder one. Family business is the issue here. But there was an agreement in which everyone agreed to a percentage to be shared. Calling Jude to do the right thing means he should be a fool and forfeit what is meant for himself to others. If you are Jude will you do that? Or if you are Jude wife will you allow your husband forfeit his source of income to his siblings.

Why don’t you go ask other managers in the music business how much they take? I still ask you, if Jude was your husband, will you ask him to take 20% so the twins can get 80%, when he is contributing not only financially but also his management skills? The twins are only bringing singing. If e easy, they should have gone to find another manager that will not collect 40% but if they didn’t, that is to show you that it was the best offer they could get at the time, they were a huge risk to invest in, I’m sure nobody knew they would blow like they did but the person who took the risk is now being labeled evil because Peter is crying the loudest.
The sooner you all realize that there is more than meets the eye that is making identical twins to quarrel, the better for you. You have made so many assumptions as if you and them live in same compound, just based on one person’s story. You have failed to put yourself in other people’s shoes and that is sad for you.

Since they were running a business, what does their business agreement states?
People commented that there is no sentiment in business. then turn around to say a 30:30:40 sharing agreement is unfair. Are both statements not contradictory? And by whose standards is the income sharing formula unfair?
Their issue should be resolved in accordance with their agreement.
As they cannot do so even after the efforts of named heavyweight mediators and the well publicized visit of Mr. Peter Obi, here is one suggestion:
The EFCC should write to the FBIR and LSIR to set up an interdisciplinary team of music/copyright, legal, accounting and tax professionals to help them audit their agreements, banks and accounts records; and to help the relevant authorities DO THE STATUTORY NEEDFUL to the State and Federal governments on the basis of the total income earned by them so far.
When they see the balance/audit report handed to them, maybe then, dia body go reach ground.
Go and sit down. Are you still on your first job? If no, why didn't you stay instead of moving on to higher earnings? Who signs a contract without an end date? All the artists that left their record labels that even had the structure to sponsor and get them gigs which this dude did not even have at the time, are they stupid? You want Peter to come back and continue while you continue collecting the same % after how many years?
