The parents were arrested because they found late Moji’s phone and SIM card in their house while the hotel workers were arrested because they found Moji’s body in the hotel room and unlawfully disposed off her body in a refuse dump....
Miss Awesu Mojisola, a 21-year-old student from Kwara State College of Health Technology, was lured to a hotel by Adebayo Joshua Happiness, an expelled student from Summit University, under the pretense of attending a sign-out party. She was promised N15,000 to pose as his girlfriend but Unfortunately, she was brutally murdered by Adebayo in the early hours of August 10, 2024.

She arrived in Ilorin and was lodged in a hotel. She called her room mate and told her she was lodged in a hotel and that she doubts if there is any party.
