Pastor Abel Damina Slams Pastors For Fake Miracles And Demanding Tithes...

Controversial Nigerian Pastor and founder of Power City International Ministry, Abel Damina, has clarified that he is not jealous of Pastor Jerry Eze, of the Streams of Joy International Ministry...However he hinted that the recent miracle in London is fake and stated his reasons...

Damina, known for his public opposition to the teachings of most Nigerian Pastors in his sermons, revealed this in a teaser of the Honest Bunch Podcast posted on social media on Sunday. The full interview session is, however, due for release today Monday August 19, 2024 in the evening.
He contended that the slogan, “What God cannot do does not exist”, popularised by Pastor Jerry Eze, was false, adding that most of the miracles being performed by other Pastors were stage-managed.
He said, “’What God cannot do does not exist’ is not the truth.
“Most people think I’m jealous of Jerry Eze, but that is not the truth…… Jerry Eze is my junior in ministry.”
“I believe in miracles, I believe in healings, but not all these arrangee miracles we are seeing today.”
Pastor Eze recently hosted an NSSPD conference in the United Kingdom where an eight-year-old girl suffering from cerebral palsy and confined to a wheelchair was reportedly healed.
The NSSPD Pastor and founder of Streams of Joy International ministry, reacted to the allegation that his miracles were staged, saying that he had more important things to do.
However, Damina maintained in the much-anticipated podcast show that the miracles by a certain Pastor were fake because the crutches by the healed lame attendees being paraded were always brand new.
“Can’t you see most of those crutches are all the same colours. They are all brand new.
“In what world will people come for a crusade and all of them are carrying the same brand of crutches and also the same colour?” Damina queried in the podcast.
He stated firmly that, “It is not about sentiments, it is about knowing what the truth is.”
Also, commenting on the issue of tithing, Pastor Damina asserted that it was wrong for pastors to ask for tithes, challenging fellow pastors to go back to their vocational jobs because “all of the disciples of Jesus Christ had professions.”

    3. Those once asking for tithing and seed sowing are not antichrist abi? Transactional gospel is not antichrist right? Do you know the height of insult it is to God when people undermine the benefits of the finished work of Jesus Christ?

    4. @Anonymous 8:59, you will know better if you understand scripture critically with your abilities before saying dumb things, don't let anyone teach you the scripture, read it yourself.
The problem with Africans is we follow trends, with big grammar and charisma. That's why we are gullible and easily deceived.

    5. @Slim Shady, there is nothing like transactional gospel, it's a name given by man to fool the gullible. Let the experience and testimony work for you. Read the scripture and understand better.

    6. Anything that warrants you to give in the church for you to be blessed is transactional, just say you don't want to give it the name. Our God doesn't need those things for him to accept you as his own.

    1. Jesus preached about he being found in the company of some types of people, or of some types of people being found coming to him, and what the officious bystanders said about him because of that.

Very possible that one person, just one person, who will listen to or view the "rubbish podcast" will have the opportunity of seeing Christianity in a new light and will seek to know more or do right henceforth.

    2. So you expect to see him only in church programs?

    3. What amazes me is when they ask for offerring for a one hour online program. I used to like Nsppd but it's like there's pressure to give offering and sometimes when you don't have to give its like you are not getting your blessing and the everyday communion is a wonder. No hard feelings# it is well Amen

  6. No Stella, the fake miracles he is talking about of people carrying thesame colour of clutches is that of Pastor Paul Enenche, even though he didn't mention names, the video put side by side is that of the said pastor.

If you watched the videos he made last month and earlier this month before Jerry's crusade. You will see that he repeated same thing. He didn't say anything concerning the just concluded crusade, rather, he was responding based on what they asked him about his stance on the word "WHAT GOD CANNOT DO DOES NOT EXIST".

Because he criticized the slogan, people now think he did it out of hatred for Jerry Eze.

    2. There is an element of the human in all good MAN does.
      But the truth remains constant.
      Good is good.
      Right is right.
      Truth is truth.
A truth told out of malice may do the speaker no real good.
But it does the hearer(s) and those who benefit from it real good.

      Extreme and common example:
A cheated co-conspirator reports his/her co-perpetrators of a knotty unsolved crime to the Police.
The Police is happy for crime solved.
The Victims are happy for freedom, or restoration, or even retribution.
The society is happy to be free from further evil by the gang or the deterrence effect of punishment meted to the gang
Yet the truth was told out of malice or jealousy.

And the persons reported? Are they ever happy?

The proper response to a malicious truth told is self appraisal and needed adjustments, not a dismissive you nko or you are jealous.

      Good morning, Sister Rhapsody.

    1. Some of them don't have jobs, they use their ministries as their source of income. I have a relation who is a pastor, he doesn't work and his wife does not work also, them want use billing finish me, I had to block them for my peace of mind

      Delete
    2. Some of them are called into full-time ministries, but most are not. Those that are called into full time do not need other jobs in order to be effective in reaching out. However, amongst the full-timers, there are also those who called themselves and are deceiving many. That's why, as Christians, we need the spirit of discerning to know those that are fake, and I will not dispute that there are many of them these days.

      Delete
    3. @Micho, pls can you define full time ministry? Jesus was a carpenter, Peter a fisher man, and Paul an advocate.Did the bible mention them leaving their day job to depend on what the masses gave? Since you are a student of the bible..(sic)

    4. The person who called them into 'full time ministry', (whatever rubbish that means) should also provide for them full time. It's as simple as that.
Not using style to beg here and there using tithe and offering as a tool thus becoming a bone in people's throats.

  12. I don't believe in forcing someone to pay tithes, giving, tithing is your relationship with God and most of these tithes are for evangelism and running some church programs and activities and some church also engage in charity, all these come from giving.
Read the book of Acts, the converts sold their belongings and brought it to church and they shared with each other.

    1. I thought the church should be known for truth and not lies ? What is wrong in telling members to make contributions anytime they need money for a project or any other thing, instead of lying to them in the name of tithe and seed and even involving God in it? People pay tithes because they were made to believe that there are blessings attached to it, they are not paying because to support the ministry in any way and you know this. The church still collects separate offering for projects and other church needs even after collecting tithes. Why don't they use the money realized from tithe and seed sowing to sponsor their church youth, during their August camp programs instead of asking them to make contributions in this hard economy?

      Delete
    2. Tithes In churches are for the pastors and reverends. Even after harvest, they still ask for money for other projects and programs in the church. The most annoying part is some church now begins their harvest programs at the beginning of the year. You will be contributing for that and also contributing for other projects in the church too. Money business is just too much In churches now.

  15. Nigerians and early morning preachers on this blog...Go back to basics! Follow the Christ of the bible and leave thise charalatans whose God is their belly! For they have built their mansions on earth, while they ask you to give so that your mansion in heaven willl be ready and waiting for when you pass on to the next life. You give and give, yet get only a minisicle result, yet they feed fat on your tithes and offerings! Wake up from your ignorant slumber! No man has the authority of thr gospel! Christ died for all, if you truly believe, He will meet you just where you are!

I tell you, he has possessed the lives of many, even pastors are not spared.

Whether these miracles are real or not,we can not judge any rather it's best we leave all men to God who in his wisdom will judge all according to their works here on earth.

What's his vision? To cause widespread confusion, disarray and discrediting of the faith before unbelievers thereby turning many from coming to the faith.
