    1. For real, I know people that delayed their marriage for years because of money, see as Omoni's son married his white boo at 21 or 22, If he was struggling to get a job, skill or business in Nigeria, he for reason marriage at that age?

  9. The effects of bad governance runs deep. Imagine being in politics for 20, 30, 40 or even 50 years and nobody can point a finger to show what you have done to make life better for anyone. Some of these politicians have been in charge of the same constituency for decades and go see how their ppl live. Go see the communities they supposedly are in charge of, go see their legacy.

Bad governance needs to go at every level. Too many only care about their status and titles, with their useless names that ppl can only curse and never praise. Even the cow dung has a purpose that they as a human cannot even measure up to.

    1. Those their people you talk about will still vote them tomorrow if given peanut. You see in this country we are part of our own problem. Saw people protesting against this protest and became more sorry for my people. People will just let themselves to be used because of little money that will not be enough for them in a day.

    2. Anon 12:10, you are 100% correct. Many of their ppl are suffering from Stockholm syndrome. For a couple packets of pure water they will still go trek under the burning sun on the unpaved road while passing by the ramshackle school fully knowing that the nearest health facility is 3 hours drive away and go vote for them, knowing no one in their community has seen electricity or running water since the dawn of time. They are their own problem, even more than bad governance.

  11. I don't like blame games. Take responsibility for your actions or inactions, learn from it and improve not to blame anyone especially Government for not getting married, and by The way, not everyone will get married even if they have the desire and means to, know this and know peace.

    1. Almost everyone wants to get married. Those who say they don’t want it, have tried and it didn’t work out or might have lost hope due to age. Forget what people say to make excuse for what they don’t have.

  26. You owe it to yourself as a man to date a woman above 35 and single in Nigeria. It is a free life lesson. One week into the relationship, you will understand why she is still single. Most discussion may not be organic. She has no mind of her own and will be regurgitating what she read or saw somewhere. One was asking me how much I will be giving her every month. Really? Woman of you live with me, everything is there for you. Why would I be paying you salary to be my wife? Now that's not someone who is out to build a relationship but someone looking for poverty alleviation program

  27. Na pay to play. There is no such thing as love in Nigeria. Who pays the most, gets the most love. I advocate that men leave women alone. If you must, pay for 30 minutes of her service and move on. Relationship in the country now is for suckers. For one, you are only a partner. She has at least 5 boyfriends she services. Save your money. You are not saving her.

  28. Waiting till you make millions before you settle down for marriage, sometimes the delay affects the time and age factors. When you meet understanding partner, both can build together.
