More lifeless bodies were recovered on Tuesday following a wooden boat that capsized in River Dundaye of Wamakko Local Government Area of Sokoto State on Sunday. 10 bodies have so far been recovered two days after the incident.

Gunmen have killed a farm manager and kidnapped three other persons when they raided two farms in Niger State. It was gathered that the farm manager of one of the farms located on the outskirts of Sabon-Wuse community in Tafa Local Government Area, whose name was not immediately given, attempted to confront the gun-welding hoodlums when he was shot to death.
