    1. Motivation- Any person born in Brazil acquires Brazilian nationality at birth; or over Brazilian airspace for that matter.

Big risk but congrats on your little one.

  6. You people should take it easy oh, why do a long international travel that late in pregnancy? God forbid you had needed more than a regular birth attendant, what would the story have been? Easy oh!

  10. You know you are pregnant you knew your due date but you still entered plane to travel. Some airlines sef will not allow you once you have gotten to 37 weeks

    1. Even weeks before that.

    2. They may have gotten a safe to fly letter with false due date because airlines ask for it unless she hid the bump.

  11. This is all shades of wrong!
You shouldn't be flying after 36weeks or did you have a preterm baby? but as usual, some of my people will go to LUTH and get "dagbo" fit to fly letter and risk it just because of what? Honeymoon? Baby moon? Abroad baby?
Later they come calling "God" and sharing testimonies when the God I know doesn't approve stupidity!
Madam you put yourself and your baby at a great risk.
Now imagine "Dr Carolina" was not on board or perhaps another Dr not skilled in taking deliveries?

Congratulations on your safe delivery but don't encourage other women to take this mindless risk you just took make dem no go kpai themselves for nothing.

    1. Very true and that thing she is looking for, she will not get it cos the country on whose airspace she gave birth do not give citizenship like that.
Miss me wt the who told u she wants citizenship bullshit! Any nigerian woman who is that far gone that decides to hop on a plane and travel to another country, did it to birth the baby there and get citizenship. U cnt convince me otherwise.

Congrats to ur baby. But that was a risky stunt u pulled.

    2. @ anon 12.37, pre-term for where? If baby was, she would have mentioned it. It's all shades of risky but people dey get coconut head, dem no dey hear word

    3. Nigerians sabi show themselves. If tomorrow the airline stops a pregnant woman from flying, even though she has a "fit to fly" letter, they will start screaming racism. How Dr. go write say person dey say 5 months and they give birth to a fully matured baby?

    4. Notice how she said she wanted to leave on Sunday but her husband and other people told her to leave the next day. They knew her due date was close.

    2. Baby was born 20mins to landing, what does that tell you na, means it’s Brazilian airspace

    1. An OBGYN in the US said that it's rare for her to have a patient from Nigeria come early, that Nigerians typically come 2-3 weeks before their due date. They do it to reduce cost especially if they have to pay for accommodation.

  20. Oya,
Our international lawyers. Is the baby entitled to Brazilian citizenship or Qatari citizenship?
    Here to learn.

    1. Lmao! Qatari citizenship ke? Wetin concern the airline and government of Qatar? I don’t know about Brazilian citizenship sha.

    2. If the baby was born when the plane was over a country that gives citizenship by birth e.g. US, then the baby will be a citizenship of that country.
If the baby is born when the plane is over a country like UK, that does not grant citizenship by birth, the baby will be a citizen of his/her parent's country, which I presume is Nigeria.
If the baby was born over international waters, the baby will be a citizen of where the flight company is from which in this case, is Qatar. If Qatar does not give citizen to babies born in Qatar to non-Qataris, the baby will need to claim citizenship of parents.

  26. Baby was born in Brazilian airspace, the baby is Brazilian, this is coming from the real source. Even if you read the story well, you would seen where they said baby was born 20mins before landing, which means Brazilian airspace’s
