She was the producer of the movie,”The Other Side Of Life”,which Junior Pope and the others involved in the boat accident were starring in.
She opened up about her mental state saying that since that April, she has been depressed and that she’s gradually losing her life.
She said,” I’m just here to say that i’m sorry. I’m sorry Nigerians. I took away your loved ones…
I’m very sad. In as much as i try to be strong,I don’t see myself as strong. I'm so sad that this happened on my set. I’m sad that they had to work for me at that particular time. Im not God. It has been destined to happen. It is meant to happen, but why me?
I didn’t even know what depression was until this incident happened. I’m gradually losing my life. I’m regretting a lot of things. I don’t even know how to call people for jobs. “
“People are even saying I went on vacation,i’m here for business. I’ve been indoors doing nothing and yet still catering to the families that lost their loved ones. Where do you people expect me to get all the money from? I need to work.
I go through so much. I’m trying to heal but it’s not coming back. We all loved JP and we all loved the crew members that lost their lives…”
She also talked about the circumstances of shooting the movie. She said that she had asked for a better location to shoot but that her team reassured her that it was safe.
She said,” I hadn’t visited Asaba in the past two years until that incident. I asked for a better location to shoot that movie and they took me there. The first time I went there before the main shooting,I asked why they weren’t providing life jackets. Then my PM told me that is how they do it there. That a lot of people have been crossing and nothing is happening. They’ve been shooting there. I wasn’t the first person to shoot a movie there; they shoot there all the time. I wasn’t even filming on the water. It was a means of transportation to the place…”
Up till now,The Actors Guild of Nigeria hasn’t revoked the ban placed on actors from participating in any film Adanma Luke makes till further notice.

This is what she should have done since but she was busy posting slay pictures and forming hard girl while her fellow asabawood dullards were cheering her on. Does she think she could match the toxic energy from angry Nigerians?
ReplyDeleteWe know you didn't kill them but they died while working on your project and you just want to move on few months later like it's nothing while the families and fans are still grieving. Common sense is not common.
Don't mind her..
DeleteShe thought life will just go on and Nigerians will forget the incident.
Years back in my area, someone killed a woman frying akara by the roadside while tasting his new car. He packed that car for long and later sold it. He could have fixed the car and continued using it but he didnt for the sake of the woman's family. We all knew it was an accident but that is where emotional intelligence come in.
DeleteAda didn't handle the whole thing properly.
Don't mind her she was busy posting herself on first class flights showing off luxury. Very very insensitive when the incident is still fresh in the mind of the family of the deceased
DeleteI feel so sorry for her in all of this. May she find happiness once again.

Hello iya Boys
This is what she should have done. It is well with you Adamma, may the souls of JP and others find rest.
ReplyDeleteIt's well the dead cannot come back to life.. I pray the families involved to accept her apology..
ReplyDeleteThey didn't even provide life jackets to them, but they said JP rejected the jacket because it was dirty ๐
ReplyDeleteThat's why we shouldn't believe all we see on social media.
DeleteThis is what you ought to have done since. You were busy attacking and posting pictures like you don't care. May the died continue to rest.
ReplyDeleteThis was what she should have done first instead of defending what is not and forming tough woman
ReplyDeleteOh dear
ReplyDeleteShe should have done this before now
I pray and hope she finds peace
May the soul of the deceased rest in peace
Way to go. Emotional intelligence and empathy is very important,in Life's journey.
ReplyDeleteThat avoidable death is what you are saying that it was destined to happen ๐จ Are you for real ๐ณ imagine Jp and others were your child, brother/sister or husband, would you say such thing, something that should have been avoided by taking some preventive measures, like, life jacket, boarding a good boat, the boat driver was driving faster from what l read online, and you are here telling me the death was destined to happen, do you also realized that the families of those your colleagues that lost their lives early on that manner may read what you just posted on social media, maybe if they didn't feature on your movie, they would still be alive till date, who knows.
ReplyDeleteSo let's be careful on what we post online. We are all human with flesh and blood running in us. I'm not judging you but reflect on what happened in that sea, you will know that it was not the will of God for them to perish in that river.
I think this is what you should have done early before traveling for your business.
It's well with you.
I am close to tears reading this....Haaa Junior Pope ๐ญ๐ญ
DeleteIt's well ๐ซ
ReplyDeleteMay their souls continue to rest in peace
This is what she should have done. She should also have laid low and morn the loss of these people, it wouldn't keel her instead, she went about her normal life like nothing happened, doing photo shoots and all. Abeg make she rest. She's doing all these now because she needs to get back to making movies and not because she's really pained
ReplyDeleteYou get the twist. She's doing this not because she is sorry but because the ban affected her and no way to make money.
DeleteGod NOSE best.
ReplyDeleteOloriburuku woman
May their souls continue to rest in peace ๐
ReplyDeleteI am so angry that this happened, but I am also very sorry that it happened on your set, because it's a tragedy never to be forgotten.
ReplyDeleteOh Lord, I am devastated in all this.๐ข
Well, better late than never. This should have been your initial reaction but for reasons best known to you, you decided to be nonchalant. Truly, common sense is not common. We all know it was an unfortunate incident that have little to do with you but it will take nothing for you to show proper empathy, if not for deceased, atleast for the bereaved family.
