  1. I'm having pap and akara for breakfast this morning.

Who remember the song below? πŸ‘‡

Some have food but cannot eat
Some can eat but have no food
We have food and we can eat
    Glory be to God. Amen!

    6. Some of you are so jealous. Gosh!
      Paree...don't mind that anony 10:20.

Kebab is skewered beef, gizzard, liver, vegetable or (steak?)
Sometimes I use minced beef molded in creamy butter before the roast.

This cook used plantains,I wonder what is failing about it.

  5. I have goatmeat stew that I cooked last night but I don't know what I will eat with it. I don't like the smell of goatmeat even after I fry it. Hubby brought it home on Friday, he said four of them bought and shared a goat in his workplace.
Maybe I will just cook white rice for them to eat with it and then go look for okro to cook and eat with the stew together with hot semo. I hate goatmeat stew with white rice.

    1. I looooooove goat meat now eh, tho I used to hate it as a kid
I was such a picky eater eh, my goodness! I ate with my eyes back then, immediately i look at food and it doesn't appeal to me even if it's my favorite, i would rather starve

I now eat everything i used to hate, 🀣my taste just changed all of a sudden

    2. Your own is good. You don't have any problem at all.
Just transfer that stew to me. I will be showering you with prayers till the end of this month.

    3. Lol. I only dislike the smell when I'm cooking the goatmeat. I add all sorts of spices and even scent leaves too but that smell irritates me. As soon as I fry it, I can finish everything. Then soak the fried meat in a nice stew with plenty atarodo, O Lawd!

    4. Ah you say what? You hate goatmeat stew? You're missing o. The stew has stayed overnight and has entered inside the meat WellaπŸ˜‹ chai wish I dey close to you.

    1. This pounded yam that you mentioned reminds me of the yam pounder that I bought. You know Poundo is very expensive now and it doesn't even taste like the real pounded yam.

I spent one hour 'pounding' yam with this machine, thank God they did not take light in the process, at a point I wanted to just go and pound it with Mortar cos it was already getting cold. Yam pounder will work small and stop, after a few minutes, it will start working again and then stop. I didn't overload it with yam o.
The almighty Kenwood product for that matter, after seeing good reviews about it.
Online food people will be using it and making it look like it's a smooth ride all through. Maybe it works well if you are using it for just one person's food or maybe it is the very expensive Buchymix brand that works well, I don't know but I won't be pounding yam with it again if it's the whole family that will eat it.

    2. All these modern machines can never be like the normal way of doing things.
That is how I will use washing machine to wash clothes and still use my hands to wash some parts cos they won't be clean enough.

    3. Freah Petals, use food processor instead of yam pounder. I have never fancied that machine because my food processor does practically many things for me in the kitchen.
It also helps in mixing my cake batter, meatpie or chinchin dough, as I bake alot. It does what a regualr cake mixer would do.

  16. Craving pap with thick Holland made Peak milk swimming on top of it, downloaded with akara that has plenty onions blended with it.
To make that akara is a problem for me as I am like this. To get made in Holland Peak milk too is hard here. The Nigerian made is the one that they sell, except maybe if I go to ShopRite I will get it.

    1. Ndo.
Next time, set cold water by the side, drop it as you peel and dice.

Best way to enjoy that yam is fry immediately in the same oil used for your chicken and turkey before pouring tomato paste.
Make sure it's soaked with enough pepper and salt or garlic powder.
I can eat a bowl of it. Soft and tasty with some turkey pieces on the plate.πŸ˜˜πŸ·πŸΎπŸŸπŸ—
