Actress Regina Daniels Addresses Netizens Who Trolled Her For Preaching Peace During Protest

She was dragged and trolled for advising her followers on Instagram not to tow the Violent path during the ongoing protests in Nigeria.......
Now she has made another post addressing the issue again after violent protests rocked some states...

"You see what is happening in the North. Hoisting the Russian flag is that what we want. Mind you whatever happens in the North can get to you.
I preached against violence and IGNORANT NIGERIANS said oh it's because I am privileged because I am opportuned YES!!
The fact remains I am opportuned but that doesn't stop me from understanding that my nannies needs to be paid extra or stop me from understanding that my gateman or my cooks needs to be well catered for because of insecurity and extra bills to be paid.
The point remains that Nigeria cannot be changed in a day or by one man. I'm not speaking for the government neither am I speaking for you people to love me because I DON'T NEED IT. I'm just stating the obvious facts and that's the truth the earlier we all realize this protest is turning to something else the better for us all and THAT'S IT''

  4. I will keep saying that this isn't protest anymore but riots as seen in the northern part of Nigeria. Protest Nigerians have been doing since time immemorial, reaching the turn of the north, they took it personal and turn it imto violence.

When they sold us Muslim Muslim ticket, they thought it was the best thing after slice bread. First half never end, una don begin cut una ticket dey burn all APC secretariats in the north upon say una carry this government over 4.5 abi na handicap.

What goes around comes around. This is a natural phenomenon. Garbage in garbage out. We should all endure the hardship so that some brains will be reset when there's a future election.

If truly you guys want a good governance, your political elites know what to do at the chambers. They should pass bills and reform the electoral process just like we saw in South Africa and the just concluded NBA election.

Less I forget, I love the neutrality of the Eastern region in this all. In fact. They're the new bride now. The South West is trying to form alliance with the South East and the North is preaching to the East to join hands and end bad governance. In all these brouhaha, I asked, was Buhari government a good governance to Nigeria?

The north has no moral right to speak about good governance in the first instance having been silent for buhari eight years failure.

    1. Mr, Park oneside, always talking from 2 sides of the mouth. Buhari's govt. yenyenyen.
Dollar was #470 when Tinubu came, today a dollar is over #1600, it's cheaper buying 1 yam in Germany than in Nigeria, and na yam wey dem import and pay duties on from Ghana.
Go and read where Dante a single guy listed his basic expenses in a month, how do you think families are coping? When people type you come out tying how mr president is good but people around him are bad,him na small pikin without sense wey need baby-sitting? Until we all learn that this hardship knows no tribe, region, religion etc na suffer we go continue to suffer.

  7. Don't forget, it was Buhari that printed over 20trillion and destroyed the country's economy. Whatever we're suffering today, Northern Nigeria lay the foundation under Buhari's administration.

Asiwaju can't redeem Nigeria or remedy the economy. This is one sad reality. It will keep getting bad. He'll suffer continuous frustration till the four years elapse from the northern region.

After Buhari, Bola Tinubu wasn't the right man for the job but all pleadings fell on deaf ears.

The hardship we're facing today in this country, will be a reminder of some people's act of bigotry, political gangsterism, prejudice and tacit support. I will never for any reason or inducement participate in a protest against this government. My reason is simple. There's no amount of protest that will be done today that will be more than the sensitization done during the election time.

  8. People on social media went savage on her. This is a very sensitive period for Nigerians. People should be mindful in airing their views on this protest matter. The reality is that the hardship has become too unbearable. You're living a luxury life on taxpayers money while majority are feeling choked with the severe hardship. it's like rubbing salt on raw wound.

  17. Reason why am against the protests. I knew that it will be hijacked by the opposition party and hoodlums. What pains me most was that I can not go and look for my daily bread.

    1. Opposition parties didn't hijack anything. Be truthful here. Didn't the North support and stood with APC?

The Yorubas in South West protesting, are they also opposition?
