Actress Inidima Okojie Lists The Things She Has Stopped Eating To Shrink Her Fibroids

Actress Inidima okojie has listed the things she has stopped eating to shrink her fibroids.

In a video posted on her tiktok page she said
"So I'm currently on a holistic journey to shrink fibroids that means I have to go what I will call a fibre diet and these are some of the things I have had to give up.
:Red meat so lamb, cow, goat. All that is good meat is white meat. Sausages processed meat, any form of red meat to the waste bin.
:White carbs so white pasta, noodles, rice, bread I don't need them
:Dairy so cheese whole milk I don't need them.
:Refined sugar, cookies, cakes, condiments, processed food in general I don't need them.
: Carbonated drinks, caffeine, high sodium food, soy, things that are really high in salt.......So we are avoiding these things because they are high in estrogen and you don't want that because those makes the fibroids grow.
But all of this is useless if you are not keeping your stress levels down. But I live in Lagos ,we will be fine''...

It is even worse trying to manage Fibroids and trying to get pregnant...I pray she gets relief soon since surgery did not work for her.....

  4. Most White carbs are our staple food here. It is achievable but not easy eliminating them from ones diet in this Nigeria where cost of eating healthy isn't funny at all. May God heal her , all having fibroid and even TTC

    1. My dear, it's difficult but doable. Whatever you feed your body now will reflect in decades to come. So, would you like to thank your body in about 30/40 years to come for the lifestyle changes made today?

    1. Pls take them out asap, Candy. If you are in FCT, best hospitals are the teaching Hospital at Gwaz. My doctor works at the teaching hospital but has his private practice. I had it done at his private hospital. How do you cope with the cramps and heavy flow? I passed out one time oh.

    2. Mine is just stomach getting big I'm battling with; my stomach that used to be very very flat is not so flat anymore. No other symptoms, thank God for that. I've started avoiding all the food Inidima listed (hasn't been easy cos I love ice cream), and also taking matcha green tea and doing castor oil wrap. I heard they are really good with shrinking the fibroid. My diet now is a lot of veggies and fruit.

@Candy, you can try it too since you've had surgery before. From reviews I read, it even better when the fibroid is not too big yet.

  21. You may not necessarily have to do away with all the listed food but you can help yourself by adding a lot of vegetables to them. Imagine spaghetti with lots of ugwu in it. Yummy. The other day i made egusi soup with three different vegetables. Bowel movement was fantastic and i felt really light on my waist. I relax my hair once a year.

  22. The US FDA is considering a ban on hair relaxers marketed to black eomen. In my decades in medical care here, I have not seen the number of fibroid cases in white women that we see in black women. It is incomparable and it’s not dietary. Yes white meat is better and a low carb diet helps generally. However, the natural hair movement had other underlying reasons and it started from our young Millenials and Gen Zs not due to fibroids but self esteem “I’m black and proud” issues in the society. Researches linking relaxers to fibroids were an outcome. Btw AA rarely bleach their skin too unlike Naija women. Some studies have suggested that

“Hair relaxers have been linked to uterine fibroids in Black women. Hair relaxers often contain chemicals like phthalates, formaldehyde, and parabens, which can disrupt hormones and mimic estrogen, a hormone that can stimulate fibroids. These chemicals can be absorbed through the skin or inhaled. One Harvard professor says that 50% of hair products marketed to Black women contain phthalates, compared to 7% of products marketed to white women”
