Today I am making lasagne ,fresh one.......Do you know Lasagne? Ever eaten it before?Wetin you dey cook today?I have groundnuts and thinking of garri but i have not had garri in my kitchen for about 4 years, i used to buy small portions but the fear of what i dont know stopped me......I saw garri put under microscope and there were lots of maggot inside...oh GOD!

MEN ARE SCUM abi wetin una talk again
These two fell in love and began their relationship 3years ago and everything was going smoothly. This lady was working and God really blessed her hand work. The guy introduced the lady to his mother and she accepted their relationship. The guy's mum sells smoked fish. At times, when the guy's mum needs money to buy fish to smoke, this lady is always there to lend her money. So many times she has lent the woman money and she never returned the money.
The guy wasn't financially ok. The lady stood as a guarantor and got Keke maruwa for the guy on hire purchase. Their relationship clocked 3years this year but something funny happened there months ago. The lady is two months gone now (pregnant). The guy's mum said both cant get married to each other and has ordered her son to let go of the lady. I got to know this when the stupid guy was accompanied by his mum to where he stays with the lady to pick all of his things out from there.
This caused a lot of noise that we had to move closer to make peace reign. The lady wept. She really said a lot of dirty things to the guy's mum. She asked the mother saying " mama oshi, when you know you are not in support of your son dating me let alone getting married to me,why did you keep collecting my money? Why did you keep using me? ..She was so pained and told the mum to please pay her the 150k she borrowed from her to boost her smoked fish business. The woman denied and the lady brought out receipt which was boldly written"loan for fish as description ".
She promised to pay back before the end of next month but still insist that, her son can't get married to her. We asked her what they want to do with the pregnancy and she directed the question to the son. She said, the son can answer that himself but as for her. It's a no no.
Hmmmmm.
This lady has decided not to terminate the pregnancy too because she has been warned before not to ever try such, the guy picked hia things from the house and took them away with Keke maruwa.
This is so sad though and I feel so bad because, to me, I believe a man should be able to decide for himself and not his mum to decide at a certain age. Also, I believe he wasn't only controlled by his mum but he knew right from time that, there won't be an headway. He is just trying to be smart. I faulted the lady also because there are some red flags I usually beg ladies never to ignore.
This is so sad though and I feel so bad because, to me, I believe a man should be able to decide for himself and not his mum to decide at a certain age. Also, I believe he wasn't only controlled by his mum but he knew right from time that, there won't be an headway. He is just trying to be smart. I faulted the lady also because there are some red flags I usually beg ladies never to ignore.
Why will you be dating a guy and his mum is borrowing money from you(she said, a lot of urgent 5ks that she never returned). To me, it's already a red flag. Another one is, dating a guy who is mumsy boy. A man that will always seek permission from his mum/dad before knowing what is good for him..

Just get kerosene and nylon or rubber or plastic or palm fruit chaff together with small sticks, armed with your lighter or matches, arrange the wood well.
Stella, some of our people in the village are scared of gas, they will will never go near it. So there is no use buying it for them.

The Court gave the order for the FG to set a benchmark for the prices of commodities so vendors will not make excessive profits at the expense of buyers.
Till now, nothing has been done and inflation bites harder. These are the issues.
I wish I have the capacity to advice this government even if it's free of charge.

DeleteNext time parboil the bitter leaf before using it. Taste it after parboiling and if it's still bitter, change the water and cook it some more. What I've seen the sellers do in Oniru market is to rub the leaf until it turns dark, finish. They don't wash the bitter leaf like they should so using it without attempting to wash it further and then parboil will ruin the soup.
