The viral story of the Kaduna state doctor whose wife and kids were kidnapped, is just heartbreaking! Each time I come across the update online, I can't imagine the pain that man is going through. Oh God! The heartless guys are demanding 300M. Make dem wait make family and friends raise money, No. They killed his 14 year old first son, and are threatening to eliminate the others if the payment is delayed further.
ReplyDeleteSometimes, no matter your faith in God, you are tempted to ask God questions. Like, why should this happen to anyone at all? Even our security personnel are powerless in defending us. Na only God fit protect us for dis kontri.
I really can't imagine the torture this man is going through right now, trying to source funds to save his family, and mourning the death of his son. And then the TRAUMA of the kidnapped family. Those ones are scarred for life. Lord have mercy!
Dear Lord, please take control of this situation, and help this man get back his family. Protect us Oh Lord, from those who seek to cause us hurt and pain. It is well!

DeleteMy dad's family is literally THE best. They've not made us feel like we've lost our dad because everything a father would do for a child, they've done and will continue doing for us. During my mum's funeral preparation, they literally held our hands when my mum's family were doing too much.
4 days after my mum's burial,
February 21st, my "mum"(my uncle's wife) was kidnapped. The disadvantage of being among the last Borns is that, all the seniors in the family will know something, they won't tell us.
My uncles and elder brothers gathered o... The kidnappers called 2 days later and demanded 20m. Is it not my uncle and elder bros will demand to hear from my mum? They did o. Kidnappers threatened to never call back and stuff. Everybody rushed and paid 20m. Okay
Till now that I'm typing this, we've not heard from them again. If even our mum is dead, can't they at least send a message of where her body is? They just left us hanging.
So yeah, I lost 2 mothers in 6mths. Whether it's my mum's case that's better now o, or my other mum o... God will punish every bad person. They will die terrible deaths for causing pains to people.

I've never come on this blog to say that I'm a big girl, I don't know where that narrative is coming from. I'm just a student, a FINAL year student at that and you know how financially exhausting it could be, there's project, there's clearance and so many bills to deal with. So it's totally okay if I sought help right? I've been doing this alone and with my family since my first year in school and up until now (cos I also work and school). It's just that I lost a huge sum of money sometime this year to scammers but didn't feel the need to share it here.
And how did I even stop commenting because I felt entitled? I've always been like this here and even outside here, this is my nature. I only talk when I feel like or when the urge is there. There wasn't a time I stopped. Besides I work and go to school, I don't have all the time in this world. You guys should just stop already. ReplyDeleteMy neighbor fell very sick and was rushed to the hospital around 5:am this morning, they were asked to deposit 150k before treatment will commence. The three neigbours that took him to the hospital started leaving one by one. It was after dropping my kids that I went there and saw the wife crying. She narrated all that transpired to me, she said all the relatives and friends that she called said they don't have money and a few managed to drop little money like 5k, 3k,7k, she gathered 60k altogether with the little money in her own and her husband's account. For the balance, she called her ex and cried for him, that one sent her 200k immediately.
When I asked how the sickness started. She said they were buying drugs from chemist treating malaria and typhoid at home before it became serious and the man could not walk.
We thank God that they have started attending to him when I left the hospital few minutes ago.
In this life, money is very important. Imagine if there was no one to drop the money, we may have lost him by now.
We should take care of our health, protect yourself from mosquitoes, dirty foods and water, etc.
Also, stop self medication, if they had gone earlier, they will not spend much.
Lastly, have savings for emergency.
That woman has better keep her mouth shut. Must she tell anyone how she got 200k? I pity her in advance
DeleteTaking care not to fall sick is a very important advice. The cost of drugs is something else. Then anything that takes you to the hospital, just ask God to help you with the bills, it's crazy.

ReplyDeleteSometimes when you are too nice, people take advantage of you, my neighbour is not always around in the evening when her children close from school, when they are at the gate, she will call me to open the gate for them, sometimes she won't leave key and they will end up staying with me till whenever she comes,. lately her mother Came around and has been staying with them, she will still call me to open the gate that her mum is sleeping 😌
Yesterday they both went out and didn't leave key, she called me as usual, I opened the gate for them around 3:45pm, I called her back to inform her that I shouted grandma from the window and nobody responded, she said her mother went out with her and they are around Ladipo 🤔🤔 they will soon be back, they didn't come back till 8pm. I had to cook twice before they came since the kids were hungry and she didn't leave anything, what if Iam not at home? I stay around Beverly estate U-turn, imagine how far that place is to Ladipo?
Well the next time she calls, I won't pick, I have 3 kids am taking care of, imagine someone adding another 2 to them 😮💨
I just filled my teeth yesterday and I was tired after the dental procedure, somebody will now leave kids indirectly with me without informing me before time, I was supposed to go for service yesterday, I couldn't go because of her kids
