Thursday In House News

 Hailings....

IN HOUSE MEMO
How is everyone doing?Honestly i was in a good mood until i read madam amebo corner and my mouth turned bitter.......I still that small lady with three abortions on my mind...
Stories like these just makes me thank God that i have only boys at home...i dont know how i would have coped having a girl and having to always check.....
A lady who is from Naija pinged me all thru the morning, she was taken to emergency last night, her blood pressure went high and she started having chest pain....What happened? Her 15 year old daughter has started going out and not coming back and the hubby is making big trouble and its police coming to their home every minute..She is at her breaking point and scared her daughter will be pregnant.....Meanwhile the little lady says she has not done anything when confronted....
I believe strongly that social media is adding to most of what is going on...My boys are not into social media at all, i didnt encourage it and even now i dont like them posting anything.....If i snap them they warn me immediately not to share it..A friend of mine saw my bigger Bambino the other day and was screaming cos hes over 6feet, and looks like a dream...lol..She was like if you post him internet will explode and i am like, why would i wanna do that? Please my people no matter how sweet it looks like, keep your kids out of every day social media life...it is dangerous to mental health......
Some of you who bring your kids photos will remember that i always say No until una insist..Please stop posting your kids who are maturing into teens...
I don tire for social media..
God, please save the World.....
Will post pone Zeeone gist to tomorrow......
Hisss!!!

MADAM AMEBO CORNER

Stella, how things? You see this matter of househelps, e go long ooo......
this friend of mine came the other day to narrate what she's been going through in the hands of her help and it's nothing short of hilarious.

She said this girl fingers herself and doesn't hide it anymore, she does it in the presence of the woman's only child, when you send her on an errand, she will spend forever there and return when she likes. The other day she stayed till past 8pm, the lady's mom was around, so she pounced on the girl, started beating her, tore her clothes including her panty and sp'rm was gushing out of her jajaina....

She's rarely in school, she had begged my friend a lot of times that she doesn't want to be going to school again, that she's the oldest in her class but they are still forcing her to go and most times she ends her journey in a man's house.

So I decided to call the girl over and talk to her cos my friend is already tired of the girl, she said she's already struggling to raise her daughter alone and doesn't need more stress from anyone,
When the girl came to meet me, she looked so fearless, you could read from her face "Abeg madam talk your rubbish fast and free me to go", she looked more like someone on assignment.
I asked her what the problem is, why she's punishing her madam, destroying things especially the meats, carrots and stuffs she bakes with, I asked her if she hated her madam that much, she said no ooo, I don't hate my madam, I hate my mother, I just want my auntie to return me to her so that she go kuku finish my life, i asked her what she meant...
She said her mom watched her stepdad molest her almost everyday, that the man f#cked her at every corner even in her mom's presence, as a child and her mom didn't say anything, she said she doesn't have strength to raise her kids alone, so she should bear the man's excesses...
She told me that she so addicted to s#x at 17 that no day passes without her getting some, I come shock ooo, I asked her how she normally get it since she's living with someone, she said she knows her ways and their gatekeeper is ever-ready to give some side-sugar always, I asked her if she's ever gotten pregnant, she said no that she can't be pregnant because she was pregnant before by her stepdad, he took her to abort it, it went south and her womb was removed...
I didn't know when i burst cry, this girl wey her eye don strong started crying too, she showed me the scars, i became so weak...
I begged her not to return to her monstrous selfish mom, she agreed, but told me she doesn't want to waste her time going to school, so I asked which skills she'd like to acquire, she said tailoring...

I called her madam and narrated our discussion with her, she agreed, so once money comes now, she will be signed to acquire a skill, she came back with smiles to thank me, I educated on why it's important to abstain from s#x, I told her that pregnancy is not the only thing you get in having s#x, she can contract STD's too, she was so thankful , life is hard but protecting your child should be a priority,
It can only get better, don't destroy your child's life trying to protect some useless man or marriage, it's so wrong, this kids didn't beg to be born please..

This story has officially spoilt my day.....What you did was lip service, that child needs serious help...she wont stop the gbenshing up and down cos she is addicted, she will code it more now....She needs help ooooooo....Your friends husband is not safe, her daughter is also not safe...Even the place she is taken to for treatment, she might collect there.....
Tell your friend to focus on helping her or send her back to her wicked mother to see how she has damaged her child..
No womb at 17 years? JESUS CHRIST!!!!!

  1. So, during my final project in school, in the Dedication part of my project book, I was thanking my Mum, Uncles, Aunts and my Siblings, that’s how naïve me wrote “I can take a bullet for you all” thinking I have written something good, that’s how during my defense, one of the panelist shouted, what do you mean taking a bullet for them? Are you a Cultist? Are you and armed robber? Who wants to shoot you? Omo that’s how all of them started laughing at me o, thank God I knew the head of the panel, that’s how I was given a second chance to rewrite that part, if not ehn… 😂

May God give to parents the wisdom and a discerning Spirit to know who to leave their kids with and who not to. May any form of wicked intentions from individuals towards children at this time be exposed and revealed and may they be put to shame. Amen. 🙏🙏🙏

  17. A brewery company was hiring a taster, Someone to taste the beers before they are taken for selling. So they placed adverts and one afternoon, a man walked into the manager's office asking to be employed.

The manager tried to figure out how he could drive him away but couldn't come up with an idea, so he decided to give him a trial. He ordered his secretary to give him a glass of wine 🍷

He took a sip and said, "It's Red wine, Varietal, three years old, grown on rift valley, matured in steel containers."

"That's correct!" The manager exclaimed, "Well give him another one let's see." So he was given.

He took a sip again and said, "It's Guinness, a combination of barley, roast malt extract, and brewers yeast brewed around Thika road in Nairobi, Kenya 2 years ago"

    "Incredible!" said the manager.

Now the manager went closer to the secretary and whispered to her saying, "Go get some of your urine in a cup let's see if he will get that."

So the man was given the cup of urine. He took a sip, turned to the manager and said, "Female urine, 26 years old, 2 weeks pregnant and if I'm not given this job, Sir I will tell your wife who is responsible for the pregnancy"

both the manager and the secretary fainted.

Sometimes am around them and their kids and they see their kids doing something they are not supposed to do and they don't even make any attempt to caution them. It's me that is not even related to them that will be bothered.

It’s not stopped by mistakes you’ve made, by how long it’s been, by disappointments. The blessing is a supernatural empowerment, a divine favor that will thrust you where you can’t go on your own. You may have been through disappointments, things haven’t worked out, but I declare things are about to turn in your favor. I declare unexpected blessings. Good breaks that you didn’t see coming, promotion when you weren’t next in line, problems turning around when there was no sign of it.

  38. Amebo corner I appreciate your input, but the tech is that girl has been damaged. It will take years of therapy and rehabilitation to get her whole again. A girl that openly fingers herself even when people are around is not good for a child/children to be around them.
As such, she's a pending danger and disaster to that her madam's family especially the woman's daughter.
The best anyone can do for her is to help from a distance.
Either she rents an apartment for her or take her back to her parents.

  44. How I have begged my sister to keep her family off social media, she does as she wants. I won’t talk again, cause some ppl will always do their own thing.

There is always a reason for the promiscuity. A child’s whose sexuality was turned on too young will behave in many different ways and have behavioural problems. This child was also not validated or protected by the one person who should have stood up for her. She needs therapy and a lot of it. I wish her all the best in life. May God give her a new story. Thanks for the little sex education you gave Amebo, sometime teaching someone how to protect themselves from harm is the best we can do for them in that moment.

  45. Facebook brought me memories of one my write up from last year, it's written in prose form, first person omniscient and I thought to share. Please enjoy!

    LET'S BE KIND.
I discovered series of attempted fraudulent activities on my bank account and knowing fully well that this posed a great threat to my sanity and finances I decided it was time to obstruct every access to all online transaction. It was clear it has become porous. However, the changes cannot be effected until I visit the bank and make a one on one request, so I jetted out to do the needful.

T'was such a sunny Thursday afternoon, festive season and I was trying all my best to beat the 2pm closure time. The security officer was kind enough to let me in despite using an handkerchief in place of a face mask, So I encountered no delay.

I entered the bank hall with ease and I stood shortly at the automated door, wondering my eyes round the customer service desk with the intention to figure out the most approachable cashier which I would often detect as the one wearing the most demure expression.

My gaze quickly met with a moderately dressed, dark and not so handsome guy who had a big smile so I proceeded. After I had explained, he calmly responded that he was no expert for my complain but wasted no time pointing me to another agent at the rear who is.

I walked over to her and she had no tag, making it quite difficult to address her by name provided it will evoke certain level of familiarity and softness from her end.

Likely in her 40s, chubby, black and beautiful, She wore a navy blue suit over a teal green camisole that caught my attention, Green is my favorite color.

I explained twice that I had a situation that I needed it to be rectified asap but she didn't reply. By the time I wanted to reiterate my statement the third time, she cut me abruptly and told me she was tired and hungry. It was then I looked carefully into her eyes and saw defeat.

She flipped through the bulk of office papers and told me these are previous jobs that accumulated. She pleaded with me to exercise patience while she sorted them and I nodded in affirmation.

She picked her snacks and wanted to munch but hesitated a bit. I told that it was OK to take them and also drink some water to calm the tension, I further pampered her with kind words and she was deeply grateful and illuminated.

At that point, all I could think about was; she obviously was doing her job but she was absolutely stressed at it. It was written all over her. She needed some air. Mental job is tasking and she wasn't exactly functioning optimally, there were piles of office papers in front of her and she was fagged.

Just glad that my "Sorry" "Thank you" "Take enough time" went a long way.
It was like something took hold of her, she briskly round up the files on her desk and attended to me and in no time, I was standing outside the gate.

Ideally, the conversations should be that "Ehn, Well, she is just doing her job", "After all she's been paid ".. Bla, bla, bla, bla...

but even at that, I think,
➡The most of us need a little pat,
➡Small things can often go a long way,
➡Everyone needs encouragement to stay strong.

  48. A mother once posted the video of her teenage daughter that cooked some rice and she was mad at her because the rice wasn't well cooked. It was very obvious that the girl was leaning how to cook.

And this woman thought it wise to make a video of her teenage daughter that is developing breasts and this girl wore a very scanty top (how do I even describe it) the top showed the shape of her developing breasts. Someone with a verified Instagram account made a comment, and I quote "this small girl don already get breasts"?

That's how some mothers expose their girl child to paedophiles.

    1. Most child molesters are not even on social media nor do they pick their victims from social media. I honestly do not see how one is exposing her kids to paedophiles just by posting them online.

    2. Says who? How did you know that most child molesters are not on social media? Well, if "most" are not, at least, some are.

The woman I talked about did not just post her daughter on social media but exposed her! That girl was not properly dressed.

I don't have a problem with parents posting their children on social media but make sure they are well covered. Protect them!

    3. Eka, most child molesters are on social media. They get their preys from that space....tiktok, gaming sites, FB, IG etc! Girls plan blind dates on FB these days and some get r*ped or kidnapped/trafficked.
      Kids should stay off it.

When we were growing up back then in Lagos you will see some mothers frying akara, roasting corn, plantain and so on training 5 children up to unversity level. 87. Madam Amebo Corner, the situation of that teen is indeed complex, and it’s commendable that you and your friend (Her boss) are trying to help her. But like Stella pointed out she needs more than the help both of you are willing to. Because in the heart of chaos, this teen's life has existed as a snamedhony of pain, a haunting melody that echoed through the corridors of her soul. But no matter how broken she seems I know that within her, a spark is flickering - a determination to rise above the shadows that threatened to engulf her if given the right rehabilitation.

Your narration shows someone whose world was shattered, as a porcelain vase hurled against a stone wall. Such tempest of rebellion, that danced on the edge of defiance. Fingers tracing secrets, she had defied boundaries, leaving chaos in her wake. Burdened by this whirlwind, I would suggest you speak for her with a 'youth-focused' NGO. Before her defiance tempest, becomes a deepening detour into oblivion.

This househelp bore scars deeper than the abyss. Her mother, a silent accomplice, watched as her stepfather devoured innocence on the premise of inexcusable reason. I can tell that when you looked at the girl’s eyes while you listened to her harrowing plight, it held stories - of stolen childhoods, of screams swallowed by silence. My heart ached reading this. To think that the girl’s womb, once a vessel of life, now lay barren - a casualty of betrayal. I can’t even imagine her recurring nightmares, mingling in tears, all in wet despair.

She has been through unimaginable trauma. It’s essential to approach her going forward with empathy and understanding. Acknowledge her pain and let her know she’s not alone. Get her professional help through an NGO, she needs counselling or therapy. She needs a safe space to process her experiences and emotions. And come to terms with her realities.

I appeal that she should not return to her monstrous mother. Her safety and well-being are paramount. She needs genuine parental love. She deserves love, respect, and a chance at a better life. Her past will not define her future if she can get the right kind of help. Healing takes time, but with the right support, she can overcome her scars and build a brighter future. The journey won’t be easy, but your compassion and guidance can make a significant difference. Her silent vow to be the lighthouse in this storm should be a concern for employers. She should be encouraged not to return to this abyss she only knows. Thoughtfully she has envisio d a different tapestry - a skill. Formal education seemed not to be her thing, a skill her preference. Acquiring practical skills like tailoring is a great alternative. It can empower her and provide financial independence through a better guardian. Or help her explore vocational training centres or apprenticeships where she can learn this tailoring. The needle’s dance could mend more than fabric; it could weave hope into her fractured heart. If properly groomed, with better reorientation and conditioning.

If we carefully peel back layers that highlighted and revealed her addiction - the hunger for touch, the craving for connection. She requires proper sex education that details safe sex practices, in the meantime. For better explanations of the risks of unprotected sex, including STDs, STIs and many dangers lurking in the shadows of life's naivety. She needs to be looked after and taken to seek medical advice and regular check-ups. She needs proper care after her traumatic experience. Her eyes are already a pool of vulnerability, being a teen lost to being unloved. With the right team, hopefully, she can absorb wisdom like parched earth drinks rain.

Poster, I thank you for the refuge your admonition gave her - a harbour against her life’s storms. Please you and her madam should rally allies, and paint her a canvas of compassion. Together, you all can give her hope to rewrite her destiny. She deserves good love, not just survival. So that in no time her

The good, bad and ugly are on line but the parents don't care. Some mum even brag about it. God will protect our children for us. As per the adolescent girl in the IHN, she needs professional guidance and counseling. She needs to be followed up. Sending her to acquire skill is good but that's not the ultimate.
