Same with me, although I wouldn't say I lost faith, but I just got tired of church and seeing people with their families. I didn't attend church for 3 years or so. I just started again last month. I started with one church my neighbour invited me to but I wasn't fulfilled. I ran back to my Catholic church.
DeleteI have even started bringing out all the materials I kept for years to start sewing them for church. I will go for confessions and start receiving holy communion again. Christ must live in me.

Her dad died when she was 6 months old and her mum left home to earn money, leaving her at the care of her grandma. At 6 years Fanny could play the piano and write hymns. At 10 she could recite the four Gospels and first four books of the Old Testament.
Fanny wrote this hymn to thank God for His mercies on her.

After seeing Endrick at the Copa America, I am beginning to wonder what the hype was all about in the first place. I do hope he turns out good for Realmadrid. I recall Marcelo's first two seasons with Madrid, his performance was more than appalling but then, I was surprised how he improved so much that I am still torn in between him and Roberto Carlos, who was a better left full back for Realmadrid. I look forward to Madrid's Pre-season games though.

ReplyDeleteI planned going to church today, but I just don't know, something keeps dragging me back from church. I need to remind myself I'm going there to meet God and not men.
I keeps seeing those hostile , unfriendly faces , judgemental faces . I planned changing church but I'm yet to see anyone around here, I talked to a friend about a big know prayer church she attends, and she told me not to even bother as they're worse than where I'm coming from, for now I communicate with God from my house, but my child is always talking about us going to church, telling me her friends are always telling her about plenty bible stories they told them in church.
I pray for mercy oh lord, my soul is willing but my body is weary
You can be going just for the sake of your child for now, while praying for the Lord to direct you to a better place that will benefit your spiritual life.

If they are managing financially, she can still explain to her sister by herself. If she and her husband has other arrangements, she can still explain to her sister about it. And taking permission from the husband is not a problem to me. She can also ask her husband if it would please him to have her sisters kids come stay with them for some days. If he say 'No' then she'll pass the information to her sister, explaining why her husband didn't buy the idea .
