Singer Zlatan Ibile's Baby Mama, Davita Reacts To Viral Video Of Their Son Calling Street Kids 'Bad Boys'

Singer Zlatan's baby mama, Davita Lamai, has reacted to the backlash trailing her baby daddy after their son described street hawkers as 'bad boys'.
A viral video showed Zlatan's son was frightened by street kids who dashed at the car, hailing the singer. While some Netizens took the video lightheartedly, others blamed Zlatan for not correcting his son's orientation about the street boys.
Baby Mama Davita has explained why her son used the words....

She Wrote;"When it’s your own child please allow them to get down from the car in that traffic and greet those boys one by one! Same boys that will mount your car, damage your car and bang on the windows if you give them chance. As you give 1 money the rest will come and violently harass you.
Even me as an adult if I’m driving alone and those boys crowd my car in traffic and start looking through the window l am scared. What exactly is the teachable moment there? SMH
My son is the most compassionate and caring and friendly boy ever to the point that when we finally permanently moved to lagos I’m the one that had to make him scared of people because he will follow anyone and everyone. That’s the reason why he’s scared now because I had to put that fear in him to protect him until he’s old enough to know for himself who is good and who is bad.
Till then everyone is a stranger and BAD unless mummy or daddy say otherwise. Please it’s not about being compassionate towards those less fortunate it’s about safety in a country we all know is extremely insecure!”

  4. I don’t have a problem with the boy but Zlatan. The video was distasteful. No body ask him to wind down for them but labeling them bad is the problem.

My mum said wen my elder brother was young he do call those Muslim women that covers their face masquerade anywhere he see them, even in public you will just hear him shout mummy see masquerade...
