''I have always ignored Senator Dino Melaye but I can no longer ignore him because this behavior of his, is getting out of hand and in a proper society, no single sane person should find him worthy as a political leader. Egbon Dino, I have some questions and suggestions;

1. The cars in your garage is enough to fund a standard and well equipped hospital in Kabba. The Okun people are suffering from underdevelopment that is second to none but this is what you care to show to the public?

2. The only university in Owo, Ondo state was built by a former house of Rep. The name of that university is Achievers university. Why can't you use your wealth to build or lobby a private university for our Yoruba people in Kogi State????

3. Senator Dino, how many bills did you lobby for the siting of federal projects in Okunland? Did you lobby for a federal medical center, federal university or national institution in Okunland??? All what you show is opulence while the most educated group in the North central continue to wallow in underdevelopment and backwardness?

4.senator Dino, out of all the former provinces in the old Northern region, Kabba province is the most backward and underdeveloped. Most provinces have either become states or state capitals while Okunland is in a state of "nature"? Yet, feudal and Aristocratic lifestyle is what you display everyday on social media??? This is wicked, unfair and tyrannical.

5. How many industries have you sited in Okunland that is empowering our people? We cannot continue to watch as this nonsense continues. If you have not visited the Yoruba speaking part of Kogi from Oworo to Kabba to Ogori, please do, you will weep for our people. Senator Dino, we know you have the power, connection and means to build and lobby for the development of Okunland.

Don't be like Sunday Awoniyi and Daniyan who served Ahmadu Bello and Abacha with absolutely nothing meaningful to show for it in the development of Okunland. Thank you very much sir. God bless Nigeria''.

    1. Effrontery of the writer or effrontery of the politician? You guys hate accountability. For God’s sake Dino is not an ordinary John Doe walking the streets of Abuja. He was a public office holder, elected to represent some people, now those people are asking him politely what he did to the constituent he represented all through the years he held office, or is it just to show off the cars he acquired during that time? They are his people, he swore to represent them, they have every reason to ask him valid questions, and here you are finding faults with the writer.
May Allah open the eyes of the Nigerian masses to start asking questions and holding people they have elected accountable, regarding the trust they gave them to hold.

    2. How is calling out a good for nothing politician who sleeps and wakes up on twitter and IG showing cars and materials obviously bought with money he embezzled from the poor masses an effontery?

I still talked about this on my WhatsApp status yesterday, we are meant to be calling out these useless men and women countless times on our social media pages.
Those ones that call themselves governors too need to be dragged silly, bunch of clueless people. They are meant to have no peace until they either do better or resign if they have no idea of what to do to make their states a better place.

  11. Second paragraph of question No. 3:
"All what you show is opulence while the [MOST EDUCATED GROUP] in the North central continue to wallow in underdevelopment and backwardness?"

The "most educated group in the North Central". Superiority complex not backed by superior thinking? As it is with Nigeria? As encapsulated in the laughter inducing slogan: "Giant of Africa"?
The most educated group of people chose him as a Rep? Or chose him as a Senator? Their leader?
What have the persons chosen to replace him done since? Oh, please pardon, it is in paragraph 5. "If you have not visited the Yoruba speaking part of Kogi from Oworo to Kabba to Ogori, please do, you will weep for our people".
The most educated group in North Central have no communal think-tank to develop ideas and create developmental solutions for their land?
They are waiting for Dino and or on him? What about the LGA Chairpersons/Councillors and the Governor?
Does it not look that the wait for and on him will be long, over-long?
What manner of educated people wait so? Is education not more than book knowledge again?
Anyways, North Central Nigeria is still in Nigeria. Nigerians are very educated. Nigerian wait so.
Here is not an excuse of ineptitude in governance at any level. It is not actuated by any affinity with Dino.
It may be out of over thinking the questions asked.

The post reminds of Nigerian musician Tera Kota's song "Lamentation for Sodom" (1984).
By the way, where is he now?

  16. Dino Melaye who isnt from a family with pedigree,
    With no inherited wealth,
Has no intellectual property, (art, music, technology or invention) that he is earning income from,
    Has no known business,
Was a senator for 8 years?
And now flaunts luxury cars that his legally earned income (if any) cant buy.

In saner climes, people like this would hide their loot.

How much tax does he pay to be able to afford such cars?

This is Nigeria, a Banana Republic.

I dont blame the nouveau riche, Johny Bravo lookalike nincompoop,
I blame the citizens who enable people like him
