  1. It Matters What You Listen To!!
    Proverbs 4:20-22.

"What you listen to matters. If you listen to the Word of God that lifts your spirit, you’ll be lifted; your life will be improved. The Word of God is life and will keep you healthy if you give it attention as the scripture says."

"The Word of God is truth. Truth liberates you and brings you into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Listen to the Word every day."

    Prayer!!

Dear Father, I thank you for the life-giving power of your Word. I reject negative and unwholesome information and fill my heart with your truths through consistent study and meditation. Your Word dwells richly in my heart in all wisdom, shaping my thoughts, words and actions in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  5. Good morning house. My friend and her fiance were embarrassed by her mum yesterday.. they left all the way from lagos to onitsha to go see her only for her to embarrass them the way she did,, thank God it was raining when they got there if not it would have entered the internet yesterday.. the mum reason for doing that is her prophet told her that the marriage will not work.. the embarrassment was just to much for the innocent guy that left everything and followed her to the east..

They want Sophia to apply sentiment when f1ghting a custody battle in court?
    Like seriously??

They don't know custody battle is wàr and in wàr; you bring out all your arsenals to win?

The court don't deal with emotions and sentiments; they deal with logic and facts and that's exactly what Sophia used. Yea; that might come off as insensitive to some people; but you won't deny the fact it's a good point which was needed to score a point..

Moreover; visitation right would have been better. What's the use of joint custody when he won't even be physically present to take up the responsibility?

    Abeg oo!
Sophia did what every sane mother would do..

Nobody is cutting him off from seeing Imade; he can visit whenever he wants. But there is a whole lot more with joint custody and that's what Sophia is avoiding..

  29. Bonjour Blogfam ♥️
My neighbour did the same thing she did on Wednesday and left her kids with me till 8pm without asking if I will be around, the annoying part was that I went to buy catfish, before I came back, my son opened the gate for them in my absence, I sent a voice note to her that she should have better arrangements for her children, Iam not their nanny, she went out and her mum too went to idunota and they know their kids will close by 1pm, from 1pm they didn't come back till 8pm and she didn't even ask me or call me in advance, neither did she leave what they will eat, I had to cook for them, she has two cars and can't manage herself 😔 I gave her a piece of my mind there will not be a next time shikena

What if there was an abusive male or female in your house? That is how the children will be abused before she comes back by 8:pm. I don't feel comfortable leaving my kids with neighbors

My parents never took I and my siblings to the village because according to them, they both lost their parents earlier and there was no reason taking us there. So,I spent most of my time here in the West except when I went briefly to school in the south. Now, I have my own kids,I can not speak nor communicate privately with them in my dialect especially when am with strangers.Even my hubby is not from my tribe.its hurt most times but it's well.
Its best parents speak in their dialect to their kids.

    1. It is really sad, awesome. I am in the same boat, my parents are from two different regions of Nigeria, we the kids speak only hausa, which is where we grew up, but not our language,.
My husband is from the south and i am from the north central
We don't speak each other's language.
We moved to portharcourt immediately after our marriage, spent 4 years there, left when my baby was only 2years old to Uk, came back when she turned 12 moved to kano and she speaks only English. I speak English with my husband in our 20 years of marriage
I speak fluent hausa but hubby does not speak. My baby understand a little hausa but how do I talk to her secretly if we are in their midst.
It is so sad, people think we are forming posh but no, it is what it is. I never lived in the south, so i can't speak yoruba which is my husband's language. Really sad
