ReplyDeleteMy kids school party is this week and less than 50 learners have paid in the whole school with a population of more than 500 learners(primary and secondary), graduating ones are over 100. One of mine is even graduating from nursery to primary, I just bone 🤣. Nursery to primary ko.
This goes to show that things are really tough cos this school, the parents like show off. Their party is usually looked forward to. You will see neigbourhood people gathered at the gate to watch them. Always like a carnival. This year's own go get as e go be. I pray God restores this country's glory.

It was December, few days to Christmas, this female bv posted on IHN and was pleading for anyone that was travelling to the east from either Lagos or so to take her along.in their private car. She greeted us and referred to us as BVNs. It was that period when BVN was newly introduced by banks.

My daughter is a graduating student jss 3 to ss 3, she had looked forward to rocking her beautiful ball gown on her graduation party. Hubby had already decided that he will pay her party fees.
Yesterday evening as he was about to make the transfer, she told us not to bother paying, that we should use the money and shop for some of her school essentials like a new food flask, water bottle, socks and then take her out to an eatery for a cup of ice cream. Later when I was alone with her, I asked her why she changed her mind. She told me that most of her friends had not paid, they told her that the money is a waste because their parents can use it for something better in this harsh economy. She said they all plan to go all out when it is the final graduation from secondary school. I told her it is a wise decision.
