The idea that I just survived a week in Lagos makes you celebrate and have fun like you dying the next week... .

Lols, but I love Lagos sha, I love the husling and bubbling life. I have the feeling that I'll make it big in Lagos if I relocate, it's only a lazy someone that will be broke in that town, lots of opportunities.

Honestly, the two years I spent in PH was like I was living in a village, I couldn't adjust to their way of life. I eventually transport myself back to Lagos.

Some still like it, grew up in Lagos as well, once I lived somewhere else, I refused to live there again, just visit my folks and go back.
DeleteI remember some years back, I was going home from work that day (Bariga to Oyingbo) as at 7pm . I noticed the driver was driving recklessly hitting other buses on the road anyhow so everyone in the bus was complaining about his reckless driving then he said " wo make Una no vex oo i just started learning how to drive Una know say man must chop" everybody in the bus just screamed one woman said "na God hand our lives dey this night o".I just kukuma left the money I have paid him, I told him to stop,and came down from the bus. The silly driver even had the guts to tell me that aunty don't come down na don't worry we no go get accident. No be me and you abeg.

I remember coming to Lagos for short period and vowing I can't live in Lagos lailai, I eventually came to work in Lagos for 4years before coming to the UK. Every big cities have peculiar challenges.

ReplyDeleteThese really cracked me up😀. Funny as it seems but it's true. I boarded a bus, we call kurupe here in Lagos on Tuesday from Constain to Onipanu. I sat in front with the driver. As we were approaching LASTMA, the driver hung
ReplyDeletethe dirty so called seat belt like necklace around my waist. I just used my hand to hold it so it won't stain. As soon as we passed the LASTMA officials, I quickly remove it 😀😀. Crazy things are happening here.
