The truth came out when Blessing's father inquired about the child's whereabouts during her marriage proposal.
Blessing lied that the kid was dead but after her father consulted an oracle and was told the kid was alive, Blessing then confessed that the child was alive and living with a woman in Enugu.

ReplyDeleteIrresponsible parents put their kids at a huge risk. A father or parent with a child old enough to get married and so limited financially to give 200k to support their adult child's marriage have no business having another child but here they are. No mention of money sent by them for the school fees of their child, no money to support his care so they were willing for him to serve as a house boy for his sister so they can blackmail her and her husband for monthly money in exchange the boy that was to help them run around. This is why there was no mention of phonecalls between them and this young child, insisting on talking to him. They didn't care and felt relief from a "burden".
The daughter herself has not made any great strides to better her lot by going for a man ready to make children but not ready to feed them. If she had the kind of education, empowerment or drive to acquire skills to earn her as little as 200k a year, she most likely would have gone for someone better to marry and this boy would have been spared. Many have risen from miry clay with knowledge, trade or skill but she seems to have taken after her parents and not Buhari or his colleagues.
Government has built and staffed thousands of schools across Nigeria but do the adults breeding really know the value? See how they woefully fail in instilling right morals or ensuring that the education that their children receive makes sense.
When it comes to financing improvements in school, stocking the house with books or coming together as a community to have those doing better to repatriate their old books, documentaries, news articles etc home or even availing of knowledge of any kind, they will volunteer neither time nor money then when problems bigger than them arise, they will give money their fellow functional illiterate to be consulting spiritually for problems caused by familial lack of sense.

When destruction befall them they would blame village ppl not knowing the food they ate and celebration they did with you is what has struck them down. Folks start getting real about who you go and celebrate with and whose food you eat. Pray before attending these events cause you never know how the money came.
May they locate that child and find him a good home.
