    1. Please, never you marry without a stable source of income. Please. No matter how loving and sweet the guy is. In 100% of cases I have attended to 80% is cos of financial weight on the man

    2. Both of your names should be inclusive in any property acquire. If you helped in acquiring those properties, have prove. Make it through transfer. This is applicable to both gender.

    3. As a woman, please give birth to the number of children you know your income will be able to train. That 100k your husband gives as monthly allowance, when una break up, he will propose to give 10k monthly.

    4. Leave if domestic violence is involved. Save as much as you can and could. Please, save. I repeat save.

    2. Thanks for sharing. We have been saying these things on the blog for years. I also tell women to log incidents and take photos and to never keep DV a secret, tell someone. Have someone who can backup that you told them about it.

    3. And any man trying to separate you from family and friends is trying to isolate you for full manipulation and abuse without interference from those who truly love you

      Don't love blindly
Men don't really joke or jest
Any attempt or comment to pull you down, make you feel inferior, affect your self esteem while dating

But sister ma, didn't you see warning signs before you agreed to marry him? If you had paid attention and acted accordingly, all these talks would have been averted

What you see is what you get.

  22. Having a supportive family helped you tremendously. So many women were not lucky enough, some tried to leave and were told to manage and that ‘God hates divorce’. They are unfortunately no more in the land of the living. Let all family members develop a supportive stance in matters of domestic violence, recognizing how toxic it is for the woman and children to live under such conditions and be willing to help their loved ones when they cry out for help to them.

Nobody seeking escape should ever be told to just “manage”, “look what you are doing and fix it” or “God hates divorce”. These are not things to say to anyone who is looking to save their life!

  24. The sign is usually there. It might not be too obvious but we ignore most times when we're in love thinking your partner will change. When you're in the lion's den😃the monster in him will start showing. I'm speaking from experience so I'm in a better position to talk about it.

  26. good you came out alive to tell the story. Some men are wicked

  27. MARRY KIND PARTNER.
See that she did not say kind husband though she was telling about a man.
    Only experience reveals this.

As an aside, children belong to mothers. Why do they find it so difficult to raise their sons as good husbands seeing that almost all women want good husbands.
