The old age of a lot of people hennn, I wonder what it's going to be like. You better treat your spouse well, you just never know.

    1. The wife would not grow old too? Is this the reason why some wives stay in very bad marriages? To revenge directly or through children against the man in old age? Do we know that some husbands are too loaded with cash and their family support to be revenged on in old age.

Women should stop this old age suffering expectations and threats of revenge, karma, etc.

Above all, nobody knows tomorrow. What if the man does not live to old age and dies suddenly. What if the same befalls the woman. What if it is the woman who becomes more dependent on the man with age. People age differently, right? There are older husbands nursing younger wives after 45+years of marriage as you read this. That's not saying the wives were paragons of goodness during the marriage. There are men who nursed terminally ill wives till death. Those same wives, all their lives, thought they would outlive their husbands and inherit. So they repeatedly fought their husbands over leaving properties as inheritance for them (the wives) and their children.

No case is being made here for bad behaviour by a husband. But wives/women should find better means than this "you-go-suffer-in-old-age" scare to properly husband the men they are married to.

Women and wives suffer in old age too at the hands of their husbands through Wills and other devises. If you doubt , go to the nearest Family Courts and Probate Offices to hear and see what husbands do from the grave.

Life is not Nollywood, Hollywood, or Bollywood.

  6. First I don't support physical violence same way I don't support every other form of violence, domestic and verbal violence, emotional and psychological abuse etc etc

The man stated that what caused the beating wasn't particular to the fact that he wanted to marry a second wife, but she became fetish, I know a Muslim guy that was like this back in school then and it was so irritating, a Muslim contacting white garment prophets for JuJu and psalms (side eyes to the psalms readers here🙄, later Una husband go leave Una for fetishism, Una go come dey talk say na horseband, dey play)..

Then also, he claimed the woman was violent, he would want to leave but she would hold him and lock his shirt, hitting him and daring him to hit her (shey make him no defend himself ni?)..

If the above are true, then I don't know what you expected the man to have done, should he sit back and allow the woman kee him?

Well, these must have been the reason the case was struck out sha, as no be case like the 'feminist' and men hater wanted it to be

    2. Apparently, he had evidence that would have put the woman in trouble too under the law.

The one who hits first and the one who hits in retaliation without excessive force are both guilty of DV. At least on the moral level.

This case is similar to that of the BV whose husband recorded her violenct conducts which fetched her a binding over order within 4 months she landed in the Abroad.

    3. The wife has even denied that there's no domestic violence in their marriage.

    4. Two SUVs at woman's use/disposal plus other etc, etc, and a promise to not go on with the man's plan objected too can change a woman's allegation of slaps to statements of he only rubbed my face too hard.

      Lol😁

      Some women. Some society.

  11. No contriteness, no apology. This fkcr is as fske as a $3 bill, but when a court does not know how to levy justice this is the shyt that victims get.

    1. Educate yourself about the full facts of the case.

The facts before the court is always the fountain of its decision in a case.

Courts do not decide cases on social media facts. But on hard core evidence presented before the court.

Maybe the blame about the decision in this case is on the society first, the woman second, and the law.

The court decided the case rightly it appears..
