  3. Ive been an avid critic of this government, but this is one of the best policies passed in recent times.
I hope they put proper mechanisms in place to checkmate miscreants from taking advantage of it

  4. This is a so terrible decision. Where is govt going to get the funds (because even in Europe, it costs almost $500 to retrofit a vehicle and we don't even manufacture the kits in Nigeria. It is imported and it costs more than N1m to retrofit a vehicle in Lagos today)? Who's vehicle will be converted? How many conversions will be funded when we have more than 11.6M registered vehicles as of 2023 according to NBS? There are less than 300 people across Nigeria who can retrofit a vehicle today and it takes a minimum of 1 week to train a person the person needs plenty of practice (at least 2 vehicles) before he can stand on his own and probably train others. I know this because I have been trained and I paid N300k! I suspect this policy will be reversed because it is not likely to be sustainable. This govt is just rambling and stumbling, this is not achievable. Enabling the private sector to drive this is the best policy, any other way isn't sustainable. Another major way for stealing, mismanaging, misapplying public funds!!!!!!
