No! Except the person is jobless
ReplyDeleteDicey topic. A friend was told me why he stopped playing for free in his church. His Pastor's son who played most of the instruments went to another church to play for cool pay making him feel like a fool. So, yes they should be paid
DeleteNot exactly, I just think they should be appreciated with some cash.
ReplyDeleteThis! 👌
DeleteFor me since they worship in the church no need for payment, but if they are invited to another church they can pay them for their services..
ReplyDeleteIf they are a member of the church, no. If they are travelling to provide a service to different church then yes.
ReplyDeleteYes, I do.
ReplyDeleteYes, except the person expressly states that he is divinely directed not to collect money.
ReplyDeleteIf instrumatalist should be paid then choristers, ushers et el should also be paid.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I think they shouldn't because they got the talent/gift for freee hence they should use it to the glory of God for free too.
My humble opinion
If they are hired from outside, they should be fully paid, but if they are trained by the church as members of the music department, I don't think there's need for that.
ReplyDeleteAnne K
They should be paid if employed by the church and it can also be voluntarily depending on individual
ReplyDeleteIf the instrumental has no Job
ReplyDeleteHe or she can be payed till he or she get a job..
Atlist make he use am hold body and soul together...
Hello iya boys
Yes. Music is a career.
ReplyDeleteIn my church. They're all paid. Most instrumentalist are paid, unless na pastor son or daughter dey play the instruments. You will be at their mercy. They can wake up and decides not to come to church that day.
ReplyDeleteYes,except,they stated otherwise.
ReplyDeleteYes,if they have to be in church from morning till night and can't leave whenever they want.. u call during the week days for church programs, they have to be available at every service..yes please pay them
ReplyDeleteIf they are hire they should be paid .
ReplyDeleteBut if they are members no.
No,they should be appreciated by well-wishers
ReplyDeleteNo!
ReplyDeleteIf they are members no payment, just once in a while, you appreciate them.
ReplyDeleteBut if they are hired yes.
This is a very dicey question. Depends on what the individual wants
ReplyDeleteNormal church service days like Sundays and Midweek Services? No they shouldn't be paid. But outside of the normal church service that requires them to come during week days from morning till night? Then in such cases they should be paid.
ReplyDeleteIf they're members of the church, they shouldn't be paid. Hired instrumentalists should be paid .
ReplyDeleteAt the discretion of the Pastor.
ReplyDeleteThose instrumentalist especially keyboardist, those boys are for the money oo.
I strongly believe they should be paid something. It will motivate them to be very active
ReplyDeleteI love the responses I see here
ReplyDeleteThey should be paid at least in stipends. You should pay a labourer his wages

ReplyDeleteIf they worship in same church NO, but if they're invited yes
