Actress Ini Dima-Okojie Says Fibroids She Took Out In 2020 Has Regrown

OH DEAR!!!
In an emotional video she shared on her Instagram page, actress Ini Dima-Okojie says she was recently diagnosed with fibroids for the second time. She went on to recount that she received her first diagnosis in 2017 and had invasive surgery to remove the growths in 2020.

She said;"Hey guys I want to share something important with you today, so if you been following me you will probably know that, towards the end of 2020 I had a Myectomy which is an invasive surgery to take out fibroids. The surgery was successful, my doctor took out every single fibroids, I healed well .
it's been 3 years since the surgery but unfortunately the fibroids are back, which you know obviously is very disheartening..
It hasn't been like easiest couple of months but I'm okay, I have come to terms with it. I definitely don't want to do another surgery anytime soon,so this time I want to take a holistic approach in shrinking the fibroids..you know back by faith.

So..yeah, I just thought you know that it was important to share, obviously is not
easy to share like honestly i went back and forth or whether or not I should but I just remember the first time I shared my story and how impactful it was so many women...........

    2. Fibroids grows mainly on women that stays long before child bearing. Unless you get pregnant and have a baby, the growth will continue. It is not a disease.

    3. Anon, caucasian women also stay long without kids but it's not as common as in black women. Fibroid has been linked to hair relaxers. Search for the recent documentary. This link to relaxers has been mentioned for years; I decided to quit relaxers 5 years ago and don't plan to go back.

    4. You lie anon 14:34. I have a cousin who had her first child (out of wedlock)at 14 , she latter married at 20 she is 35year now with three kids. She actually left her husband four, two other miscarriages. She left her husband 4years ago because he cheated. And yes, she has fibroids .

Her elders sister also got pregnant at 16, her first marriage produced three kids, then she remarried and had a son before her husband traveled out two years ago.She also has fibroid now and she's 40yrs old

    7. Go to most hospitals in the UK and look at the women having surgery and they are white women suffering with fibroids. It affects all races. With some of them turning into cancer. Fibroid is linked to hormone issues which needs to be balanced

    4. There is, change diet and lifestyle. Cut out all processed food and fizzy drinks and alcohol. Anything with soy or soya needs to be removed from your diet. We have a natural remedy in Nigeria called Aidan fruit. If drank twice a day this will naturally shrink fibroids. This is after making other lifestyle choices first

  4. Pray about it, God heals people from.fibrouds and watch your diet. Don't eat bread, msg stuff, eat a lot of fruits and vegetables above all pray like never before evil growth go commot for road

  5. This is what I have been battling for years now without any solution, except surgery. Which I don't even want to think of, since it does not effect the akpa nwa.

Although it's not easy but dieting helps a whole lot, if you can stick to it.

And no, the shrinking method is not advisable. It's dangerous to your health.

Apart from dieting, Stop putting relaxer on your hair first. E get why.

I'm sending love to every woman battling this demon called fibroid.
    All that pains every month?😭

  9. Oh so sorry to hear this. I had same surgery 2009 and every single one of the fibroids was removed. I healed well and had my first Child in 2013. Late last year, I noticed that my period is heavier again with the attendant dizziness and more bleeding days. We were like it cant be fibroid again. Went to hospital and after scans and test, its fibroid once again. I am done with Child bearing and we are considering total removal of the uterus. The pain and discomfort is out of here. God blessed us with 3 children of both sexes who are healthy and thriving. So total removal is our sure bet. I understand the pains she is dealing with and for a young lady that do not have a child yet, i can feel her pains. Ini should talk to her doctors and above all trust that God will perfect it all. My Surgery is in 3 weeks. Keep me in your prayers dear BVs

    1. You used the right word @ Justyswt is a principality that can be only overcomed with prayers and real organic diet! After an invasive surgery in London; and proper diagnosis in the US for diet! I was shopping from only wholefoods in the US! Now lie! I moved to the Middle East same wahala! Is in Nigeria now, that I have peace of mind! I have been taking communion everyday and I work from home! After my first invasive surgery!I focused on God! I bled for 15 years heavily; but you see this God! He gave me a lot of revelation and secrets of globalist agenda and satan's army on earth.
I carry my natural hair now, I don't even do braids anymore; I just know that doing away with everything artificial helped.
I am almost 50 and my reproductive biology is squeaky clean.
Live right and worship God always! Fibroid is a demonic affliction on ignorant people; who live anyhow. I remember my jamo female obgyn in NY them telling me to have a child out of wedlock! Thank God I focused on God.
You must stay fasted and seek God to overcome this evil 😈 principalities in guise of fibroid.

  16. Can rich Black ppl donate money into fibroids research? Even those of us of lesser means can also contribute. We need to have a mind for investigating and finding remedies to health issues that predominantly affect our ppl. There are many scientists who would be happy to do the research, we have the well trained personnel but research is costly and requires funds.

I am exhausted hearing about this matter. Every second black woman has fibroids. It’s an epidemic and we are treating it as though it is not. This parasitic thing attaching itself to the reproductive organs needs to be eliminated.

It is disheartening to hear stories on fibroid, God shows mercy on women but I have done research and find out that early marriage and child bearing is solutions to this nemesis to woman hood because our mothers and northern woman who marry early don't suffer this, I pray for divine healing for all women. We love you

    2. No be everybody go marry and born early nau, Grace is different

      Delete
    3. Whether you married early or not, it can come. One of my sister got married at 16 yrs ,had all her children early .
Infact, she was a grand mother at 45 yrs yet she had fibroid.
Fibroid can shrink via intensive exercises and avoiding certain foods.
      And yes, it's actually demonic....

  17. May God heal her permanently, nothing is too much or impossible for this our Baba God.

  20. I empathize with women battling fibroids. From my experience in naturopathy, I believe that surgery is not the best solution for treating fibroids because it does not address the root cause. The causes of fibroids vary from individual to individual and can include poor diet, hormonal imbalances, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), obesity, exposure to pesticides, increased estrogen levels, and poor metabolism, among others.

It is essential to identify and address the underlying cause naturally. This way, even if surgery is performed, the fibroids are less likely to grow back since the root cause within the body is addressed. Certain foods, such as dairy products and sugars, can contribute to the regrowth of fibroids.

Don't wait until the fibroids become large. Taking early action to manage and treat the root causes can help prevent their growth.

  21. This is what I'm battling with, I can't even do surgery for many reasons, I have an appointment with a Gynaecologist next month, I don't know if they can find a solution for me without surgery, because i read online that there are several permanent solutions without surgery, though not in Nigeria, maybe Nigeria too has advanced in the cure, we never can tell.
