Actress Ayo Mogaji Says She Left Her Marriage After 13 Years Of Abuse

Veteran Nollywood actress, Ayo Mogaji, has disclosed why she left her 13 years of marriage with retired footballer, Victor Ayodele Oduleye.

The actress had a son (who is about 20 years) for colleague, actor Jibola Dabo, who she described as her boyfriend, after him she married Victor Ayodele Oduleye in 2006.
In her latest interview with actress Biola Bayo on the ‘Talk To Be’ podcast, Magaji accused Oduleye of abuse.
She further narrated her love journey with the retired footballer.
“We fell in love with each other but received beating over any little thing.
“Even in England the abusive language, the mental torture, the physical abuse, when it gets too much I will advise anybody to get out of that marriage.
“It got to a stage that when it’s only two of us at home, I do go outside the compound and sit till when someone will come around so that I will not be abused. We were in it for like thirteen years and we have been separated for four years now,”

  3. Good, that's what i preach all the time, if the union is getting toxic for your liking, please always walk away no matter how long you have been married.
It's better to leave in one piece than to be carried out in a bodybag

  16. Truly, every woman should walk on the very first incident. The damage done to the spirit of the abused and the toll it takes on children is not worth it. Nobody comes out of that the same, it kills something inside of a person.

I am grateful that she is alive today. Her eyes have seen many things. I have a feeling those 13 years were not the only traumatic period of her life. May you know peace, mam.
