I have a neighbor in my compound whose cousin stays with. This boy is just 19years and will be 20 in few months though. He takes Colo as if his life depends on it. I began to take note of him at night. They stay upstairs but he prefers coming to my window(the second room) to smoke his colos. I called this my neighbor and spoke to him about his brother because the life he is living won't lead him anywhere than failure. He said he will talk to him. Ok now, sebi I don talk my own komot mouth.
This boy will take colos and won't eat good food. He will buy biscuit and pure water. At times, he will come to me and beg me for water which I don't decline. There was a day, we decided to use the only yam we had at home to make pounded yam. Wify was busy pounding when he came and told us, he will eat. I never bothered, I gave him and he sat on the floor at my kitchen window and ate then thanked me and left. He has been so buried in the intake of colos and he is becoming a liability to my neighbor. 

Recently, his brother was looking for his small phone, they searched everywhere not knowing this boy has sold it out to someone and used the money to buy colos. They couldn't even do anything to him. They called the mother and the mother said, she will pay back.hmmmm(the mum has destroyed his life being the only child she has. She keeps pampering him each time they report him to his mum).

This boy was rusticated from Unversity due to his nasty attitude. Infact, I was told that, the boy has been to over 2 universities and he was rusticated. Now, he got an admission into NOUN but you won't ever see him attend lectures or submit assignments (na the mama dey do those things for the boy).

 It's not funny I swear. He doesn't know when they have test until his mum call to inform him(imagine a good mother). Recently, my neighbor sent him away 5 days ago because he has began to move with frats in the whole environment. I heard some people came saying, he is owing them and he has failed to pay. My neighbor was held responsible for all his debt.
This is a young boy who has every opportunity to become a better person in life but he keeps being useless for himself. I have sat him down severally and I have also used the story of my life to make him understand why he needs to be up and doing but, as e dey enter right ear, e dey come out for left ear. A young handsome boy whose stature is not different from a sickler due to colos. Do we need to blame his mum or the society?

To me, I will blame his mum because I have experienced a particular day when the mum came fighting her own brother because they scolded him for messing up the house and not disgracing them by using his name to buy things on credit. The boy reported to his mum and she came shouting blablabla.. Saying, if they don't want her son ,they should talk and she will go with him. A child you sent to three different higher institution and was rusticated. Na the same child u dey support for bad things. What a pity.

That you have just a child(boy/girl) doesn't make you over pamper such child because of you do, that child might not be useful for you at the end of all your efforts on him/her. There must be moderation in everything. Yes, we admonish that, parents should be a friend to their children but it doesn't stop you from being a father and mother indeed. Let him/her have a taste of decorum and discipline if truly you love him as you claim.

Our compound is now peaceful, me wey dey always fear to put my sneakers and co outside cuz we know what can happen to it.

Since the mum is enabling his behaviour, he should stay with her , one day she go wake up see say he don sell her LOL

E get one man for my compound, very cute but should be in his late 50's, he moved in last year, has been living alone, quite decent and calm, he looks comfortable, 

In one of our meetings in the compound he mentioned that his last son is older than someone who tried to shut him up cos he said something stupid (story for another day).

Ever since he moved in, e get one small girl that lives very close to us but will always come to assist this man, sometimes na the girl mama go come, I heard he pays them.

Around May, this man's wife returned from the Omugwo she went for and resumed her duty as the wife, the girl's mom stopped coming but the daughter was still coming, she became very clumsy, would spoil things in the house, something she doesn't do before, the wife of the man got tired of correcting her.

So yesterday, she gave her some money and told to stop coming, that she's fine and can manage without her, small Auntie became very upset, cried herself to sleep, her mom kept wondering what was happening to her daughter.

Later in the evening, the mother overheard one of their neighbors saying that the reason she's crying is because she has fallen helplessly in love with the man.

though her young daughter couldn't plan any evil against the woman but she was ready to do anything to keep the man to herself, na so the mama scream, she dragged the girl closer and she confirmed what she heard, said the friend confided in her.

The mom asked if the feeling is mutual, she said no, she asked if the man has ever abused her, the friend said no, she said the girl has not been bold enough to tell the man how she's feeling about him, the woman went inside, dragged her out and gave her the beating of her life (na so we take hear wetin de sup, though I condemn the public disgrace, she for handle am calmly instead of humiliating the girl)-

Yesterday morning I was inside when we heard shouting, the girl has ran away, dropped a letter for the man on his car and for her mom, this girl just finished her junior waec, no be small love

 She told the man that if he can return the love that she will come back home

 (i don't know how), the man was so surprised, she said the man's wife ended something beautiful, a true love.

Now my question is, how does a 15yr old child fall in love with an old man and not scared to show it? Who is to blame here, the parents or the old man who is clearly unaware that a child is loving him or the man's wife that sent her out, till today she's not yet found, even police has been informed 

Imagine!!!!...I am sure that for her to behave this way, she bedroomly active already!Please let us know when they find her.

 Prevent the environment that helps them thrive. That’s the main answer. 

 Keep your cupboards, sinks, tables and floors clean and free of dirty plates, unused utensils and old newspapers. Clean your dishes, food crumbs and oil spills right away once you cook. 

 *Always store your food in airtight containers, and never leave your food out (even if it is pet food!).* 

 *Storing up food in nylon bags and sacks like garri and rice is NOT the best for you. These idiots can eat through the sack and ruin that food for you.*

 *Don’t risk it at all.

* Seal cracks and gaps in walls, floors and openings around or inside cabinets. Also make sure that you seal gaps around pipes, plumbing, wall outlets, and spaces under the doors to your house and kitchen. From time to time, run hot water in spare bathrooms and little used sinks. 

 Always check your bag and your children's school bags when they return home, as well as your shopping items before storing them. If despite all these measures, you still have a cockroach problem at home, contact a pest professional for assistance with elimination and prevention. Smack with a broom. Squash with slippers. Boil in hot water. Spray with an insecticide. Kill with a gun. Use whatever means you can. But don’t ever ignore. 

 One cockroach can produce up to 1,000 new ones in a year to torment your life. Kill cockroaches now Before they kill you. So ladies and gentlemen. Do the world a favour: Kill a cockroach today. n
