ReplyDeleteI think this arrest is injustice, because according to story, the lady and the Nigerian abroad agreed on advert and one million naira, which the lady didn't do after the agreement money has been paid because, she said she can't advertise in a local area or market, and if the abroad man wanted her to go to the certain area for the advert, he should pay extra 1.5 million naira which the man refused and told her to return the money, the lady refused to return the 1M since last year, the man reported her to VDM and that one called her out with her social media account, people started going to her page and told her to return the money to the owner since she said the money was too small for the advert.
ReplyDeleteShe even did a video on tiktok saying how much is 1M that the man can't leave for a fine girl like her, that the money didn't even spend 5 days in her account before she spent it, that she's a big girl, netizens started trolling her online and every time she posted anything, they were calling her thief, saying they were very sure that anything she put on was the part of the 1M, she was forced to return the money to the owner after plenty trolls from netizens.
If this is the story they're pushing behind his arrest then for me, it's just a front.. it's the 'elders' who think they gods and can cancel a person that are behind it..

See eehn, if you want to believe what I'm saying to be true, just present yourself as a mouthpiece to the common man in Nigeria. You'll get countless mails and SOS messages from people about the oppressions they're going through. Some of them are afraid to voice out but willing to pay someone to speak on their behalf.

The case up there is actually that of a politician that allegedly defrauded someone abroad. The video is on his channel.
Ashmushy's issue was between yesterday and today and immediately after he posted all the videos, audios and chats shared with him, Ashmushy quickly refunded the 1Million that she had held on to since last year(2023)!!!! She was going to forcefully hold on to a man's sweat and she had the effrontery to tell the man that there's nothing he can do!!! How wicked!!!
This young man is doing a good job. The job the police refuse to do.

As Nigerians do to almost every good thing, they are beginning to abuse the Cybercrime Law, which is essentially intended to really catch the "the Lovers and BEC (wo)men" by all means possible.
Even on the borderline criminal-civil libel complaints, the accused person should be merely invited, investigated and sent home where no tangible threat of physical harm is found. The complainant should be advised to go to court for a civil claim . On the other hand, people should also learn to stop making threats at any person called out on social media.
If we celebrate the new trend of fully criminalizing libel, even our favourite blogger(s) can be given accommodation and beans on the bare complaint that the headline of a story is wrong even though the body of the story is 100% over correct.
Anyway, it appears that Nigerians enjoy being oppressed by their rich people. Then, they turn around and holler that their country is stifling. With the amount of money in the hands of their rich people, and the poverty on the other side, the journey ahead appears longer and rougher.
