Singer Terry G Makes Shocking Revelations About Nigerias Music Industry

Singer Terry G has made shocking allegations about the Nigerias music industry.

During an interview in a latest segment of Afrobeats Podcast, he noted that  Nigerias music industry has been overrun by cultism, making it extremely difficult for artists like him who are not part of this group to thrive musically.

He said:
"In my time, Cultism used to be in the University But it has entered the music
So let's take it back to the University or probably to whenever we want to take it back to If we can remove it from music, we would be family again
But if there's frats in music, People that are at odds that are not cultists cannot operate anymore.
You know...it's just how it is. Fear wetin you no know, Be wise o, be smart
But we wey be bad guys wey no join anything
So we get level wey we sef we know am reach
But if there can be trenches as normal trenches
Everybody will be fine, we will be family cause even when we were doing our thing, there were people doing same cultism but it wasn't violence
It was about love
When they want to oppress you, they show love
But now, I can see family fighting family, same family hitting on themselves
How will I be motivated to even join any family
Na me una wan take do scape goat. So that's just the major problem in this game
Many musicians now are even scared to do music
They want to do cult before they do the music
Cause that would actually give them wave That will pave way for the than the music
So let's try and tune it down a bit. It gives us connect and all that
We need it in the society
We need growth, we need team work, we need family
These are the reasons why all these things are effective
But let's not intimidate
Because you go born pikin
They go still do your pikin wetin you do pesin".

  6. It's a world wide phenomenon. It has always been visible to the discerning. People (fans) are just being carried away by the facade of refinement or polish that overrules the entertainment industry.
