I always tell people whatever I go through is my testimony. First came fear, yeah  then came shame ,regret, then neglect. sorry, I'll probably cry.

    3. The reason is because Yorubas value children. They accept their daughter when she falls pregnant and when their son impregnates a girl, they accept her and her baby. They are mostly against abortion. Other tribes will abort and abort all the kids in their wombs because their families will throw them out and disown them. Also, no man in their town will want to marry them if they find out they got pregnant out of wedlock. This is why some of them who do not want to abort go to baby factory and give birth there and sell the child. Then they will come back home and pretend to be fresh. Some do it with the consent of their family.
This is also why baby factories are rampant in that part of the country.
It is worthy to note that Yorubas also marry divorcees apart from baby mamas, more than other tribes. Their family also accept them after divorce. Other tribes will prefer to die in their marriage rather than leave because their families will reject them and they may not see another man from their tribe to marry. But in other tribes, divorce is frowned upon and divorcees are treated like lepers.

    4. Anon 13:08… I totally agree with u. In my part of d country, u & ur family are stigmatized for as long as can be. No family would want their child to marry from that family but Yorubas don’t see anything wrong with it, thus making things easy for all. D only thing dislike in them is open adultery from both husband & wife. To each their own sha. No one can have it all. Unless Shade doesn’t want to marry again, otherwise, tear rubber guy from a sound background is waiting anxiously for her.

    5. Starr and Sharon, even after the disclaimer i raised, u still found a way to make it look like i said something nasty. I said, me and you do not know the same set of people, and it has been my observation over time.
Anon 13:18, i am not a yoruba girl hence my lack of knowledge. Thanks for taking out time to explain to me.

    7. Yorubas will say nnkan Eni ki di meeji,ki Inu ko bi Eni.

Even when your parents accept that you have made your mistakes, those 9months are not always easy for any teenager.

    8. 13:08 , on point!
Yorubas accept babies born out of wedlock, so abortion is not the next option.
The rate of TTC is higher in other tribes than in Yorubas too

    9. Yeah, baby factories are plenty over there to buy those babies from the teenage girls so that there is no such baby in the family. Having a child in your parents house is a taboo. But Yoruba parents will accept the baby and the girl can marry a fresh guy in future without shaming her.

    10. That is why there are too many tours in Yoruba land, if you go to Mushin, Bariga you will weep, general hospital are full of young girls having kids no man will claim, when it comes to marriage and raising kids, yorubas are not really good at it and the nearest future will tell the outcome

    11. Anon 13:08 every tribe has some bad side but when it comes to marriage yorubas have F9 and an them abort pass because you will see them have 4 kids for different men before the age of 30 and they will still keep dating men but never have more kids, other tribes will marry and have 8 to 12 kids at least until recently that a lot of people reduced the number of kids they have, how many Yoruba women have you seen that have 6 or 7 kids compared to other tribes, their men keep dumping them or absconding and you will see them sleeping with different men and aborting . It is only Yoruba women that you will see 1 man marry 40 of them easily and I mean educated women. Pls no tribe is perfect but Yoruba is F8,F7 F9 when it comes to marriage, they fail woefully , very disloyal tribe
