At least 100 houses have been razed by a cooking gas explosion in Jamata, a community in Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State. It was learnt that the explosion, which happened on Wednesday, brought down buildings and destroyed properties worth millions of naira.

A Federal High Court, Abuja, has again adjourned the suit seeking the removal of Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, until July 5. Justice Inyang Ekwo, on Wednesday, adjourned the matter to allow the plaintiff respond to a fresh application filed by Ganduje to challenge the competence of the suit.

ReplyDeleteCondolences to the young ppl who drowned. The govt needs to send out psa on water safety. River current is invisible until you get into the water and it pulls you away. And rivers can be much deeper than expected. What a sorrow for the families. May their souls rip.
