DeleteYou may not understand the Grace we enjoy on the daily when we all go out and return in one piece. I think safely returning home after each day hustling and travels are highly underappreciated and undervalued to some folks.
ReplyDeleteIt's never about being smart or strong. It's all about God's divine protections and coverings over us.
Nigeria is a huge crime scene, of which anyone can be a victim.
All you need to be a target is to have a semblance of good living - good phone, car. Just look like a human being and you risk being whisked away in Nigeria either by security operatives or kidnappers. The former are very good at such and has penchant for such unruly behaviours towards innocent Nigerians.
Security operatives do most of the whisking away, accusing you of being a Yahoo boy or criminal.
What does that imply?
It simply means to them, a young Nigerian can't be genuinely wealthy without fraud. Its implications is that, they want you to be poor and die wretched. This is the mindset and mentality inherent with a good number of the uniform men we have in the country. I don't even want to start with the ones putting on red apron that invades people's house midnight sometimes pulling down walls, roof and doors to gain entrance.
Nigeria is such a weird place!
