Once a decree Nisi dissolving a marriage is made by the court in Nigeria, the marriage stands dissolved 3 months after if there is no appeal or application by the couples to set aside the order nisi.
No party to divorce proceedings is needed to sign any paper accepting the dissolution of marriage after a decree nisi has been made.
