ReplyDeleteThis fuel scarcity should stop already, cost of transportation wan choke person. If it's only the high cost, shebi e for better. Before you see taxi or bike, you'd have trekked half of the journey and still pay 3 times the normal rate.

It was a very long night. Got a call by 1am by a friend that our friend need us urgently. What an odd time to leave the house but what can we do. They brought his 18yrs old son dead from his school The school said he was gyming,. Slumbed and died😭😭😭😭😭. They did not inform the parents till after hours. The hospital we took him to said he died 6 hours ago😭😭😭😭😭. God this family needs your mercy now more than ever.. God please help parents.

DeleteThis is sad. May his soul rest in peace. I hope proper investigation is done to determine the true cause of death, schools can lie to cover up very easily. The investigation will not bring him to life but it will give closure to his family and justice (in case of foul play)

ReplyDeleteCome and see trekking since yesterday, thank God my kids school is not that far. I pity those who live very far from their kids' school or their own work place.
When I was working in a bank in those days, I always lobbied to be posted to a branch close to my house. After marriage, any business that I owned, I made sure it is trekable from my home in case of fuel scarcity.
Imagine 200% increase in transport fare and no enough vehicles on the road for those willing to pay it.
It is well with us in this country. My children's school is far but trekkable.
DeleteI can't be trekking far distance with them, I dey pity them, I don't want to stress the poor kids biko, no be dem say make I no hustle well and be rich.
The rich don't queue for fuel, their boys buy the fuel in black market no matter the price and take it to their house.
There's increase in transport fare? All talk and no action won't solve our problem.

So no school today, my daughter woke up by 6:am, I had to chase her back to bed. I usually allow her to sleep till 7:am when there is no school, enough rest is good for children's brains.
She loves this her new school so much and misses it when there is holiday.
