The Story Behind Famous Goonu Banana House In Onitsha

This is the Goonu Banana house in Onistha, Anambra state... No one lives in it and If you dare spend a night in this house, you will run out without your shoes the next morning....

The only person who knows the story behind this house called “Goonu Banana House" is probably the owner but it cannot be told because he is dead...
The foundation of the house was allegedly laid with the blood of a little girl who sells banana in Onitsha..
Tenants who parked into the house after the owner had finished the building were scared to death every night because they kept hearing the shout of "goonu banana" coming from beneath the building ,including other strange things happening in the house!
One after the other all tenants parked out except the landlord.
Till date this house has remained empty and the landlord dead.

  6. Those unsightly buildings need to be demolished whether haunted or not. I can smell them through the phone. Yuck!

There are haunted spaces. I lived in a haunted apartment and it was an interesting experience. Nobody believes it until they experience it.

  9. I once lived in a two storey unpainted building somewhere around Ikotun. Morning and night we normally hear someone snoring very heavily. We first thought it was one of the neighbors. But the snore became more heavier that even other houses on the street started complaining and findings showed that nobody in the building was snoring. So, the host of a programme "Lambe Orun" was called in. When he came, he met with the now late landlord who was living on the second floor

  10. And questions were asked; after everi everi, we got to know that it was a Bird snoring at the roof. The late landlord confessed that he was supposed to perform a ritual/sacrifice and therefore the snoring was to remind him of his outstanding debt. Well, the snoring didnt stop; tenants started moving out inclusive of me o. A month or thereabouts the landlord died and was buried in the compound. But till date the building has remained desolate; even his children (which on a norm will have started fighting for property) ran away. Nobody lives there only rodents, grasses and their cohorts.
