When the movie 'A Tribe Called Judah' was released last year, there's nothing people didn't say about it - "Great movie", "Great cast", "I learnt a lot from it", "Funke did an amazing job", "The actors killed their roles", "Best movie of the year".....etc. The buzz was non stop!
ReplyDeleteAt the awards night last week, the movie didn't win anything. Instead, 'Breath Of Life" won everything!
Now, the talk don change - "Breath Of Life had more lessons to learn. "A Tribe Called Judah didn't really teach anything positive", "Funke needs to do better with her movies".....etc. SMH!
Human beings??? 😂. Just do your best and ignore their praises, cos when e set, you go know say na only you waka come.

Children of God, some mistakes in life can never be corected, rather it can be managed. Life without God is like a blind man without a guide. Have u ever seen a blind man confortably living alone, going to market, running a business etc without a helper, that is how you as a child of God whenever you throw God by the corner and do things yourself without involving him.
The choices you make will either make you or mar you. How do you feel as a parent when your ten years old wakes up suddenly to tell you, mother or father, despite you feed me, take care of me and clothe me, i will start taking decisions of my life myself, i don't need your input anymore.
Won't that be madness and also funny to you, because you know that he/she is just a child and will make so many bad choices. This is exactly how God feels when we do things without his help.
No matter your age, affluence, qualifications and exposure. You can still make loads of mistakes. But with God being your eyes, ears and Mouth. You will never fall into the ocean of regret.
In life, their are three spiritual gates that the enemy can use to destroy us. They are:
The eyes
The ears and the mouth
In decision making, what you see with your eyes can either convince or confuse you. What you hear can mislead or disorganize you, what you speak or spoken to can build or destroy you.
The fact remains that you need God. That thing you feel that you know well can humiliate you.
Allow Jesus to be a part of you. Normalize involving him in all you do.
Any man that puts God first in all things will always be first and can never come last. God can not be mocked Jesus will forever remain lord, whether you acknowledge him or not.

ReplyDeleteIf after 17years of having your first degree, you then put in for your master's program, you will be asked to go get another first degree certificate.
You might not believe this but you will understand better if it happens to you. The time frame for relaxation after any certificate before going for the next is minimum of 5years and maximum of 9 or 10years Shaa.

DeleteI think I have a different opinion on this. You see, not every man care so much about this virgin thing. Not that they won't appreciate one their way but it may not be their primary focus. Secondly, a woman marrying at 44 is no crime. Some men like the mature older women. For me, I will go for an older woman who have had her life in place. They are great lovers with experience. Good morning house. How has your week been?
ReplyDeleteOn a normal, I don't like dogs but you needed to see me crying two days ago when that dog died. Y'all remember that dog I talked about last year, the puppy that a neighbor brought home and it was disturbing the neighborhood with cries? His wife was angry because she was the one buying food in the house but she later mellowed down and was feeding it. Then the dog got pregnant and gave birth to four puppies last month.
Sometime last week, I started hearing it sounding pained, I asked my kids(they know everything cos they do go and check on the puppies). They told me it ate rat poison.
The dog was hungry as a breastfeeding mum that it was, the food was not enough, so it went out in search of food and ate poison.
I overheard the other tenants in their compound telling the man to take the dog to a Vet, they told him he won't spend much, he refused. He was giving him palm oil instead.
Two days ago it died after going through pains for almost a week, groaning in pains every night. I heard it did not eat too since last week.

Rest in peace to the dog. It got into the wrong hands. Why keep a pet when you can barely feed your family? He wouldn't have spent above to 10k to flush its system. As I am like this, I no dey do pass myself.

One of my old classmates added me on Facebook, she wrote Ola as Horlar, I didn't even know she was the one that sent a friend request as she did not use her profile pics, I declined.
She added me again another time I declined, then went to check her profile page and saw she was the one.
If she adds me a third time I will block her. Her timeline contains childish stuff and Snapchat filtered photos. I need friends that will add value to my life jare because even me, I only post meaningful stuff on my page once in a blue moon when I enter there.

Since I have one nice Ankara fabric that I don't need, I gave it my neighbour who is a tailor to make a simple iro and buba for her, this woman told me that I will pay 3000 for just iro and buba meant for a 5yr old girl o. Something that should not pass 1000 🙄
