Fire Burns Down Tejuosho Wood Market

This is sad!!!
On Wednesday May 29, 2024 fire burned down several wooden ehanties at the Tejuosho Market, Yaba area of Lagos State and destroyed properties worth millions of naira.
The fire reportedly started from the market located along Tejuosho Canal, comprising shops and residences, at about 12:30 pm.
Goods worth millions of naira were destroyed.

    1. Some of it is electrical/illegal connections, not putting out cigarettes properly before tossing away, sparks from open fires, lots of available debris to easily ignite, lack of extinguishers, lack of water, building built with easily ignited materials.
