I had a dream 3 nights ago, in the dream I was asked to seek the face of God. I had the same dream last night and in last night's own I was led to mountain of fire by my mum..
I am originally a Catholic but I stopped going for mass because of the distance from my place to the Catholic Church here. I have tried Red**med and liv*ng fai*h but I left.
I finally settled for a church very close to my house called HPMC.
My question is where do I start from??
When seeking the face of God, where does one start from?
Should I start by fasting and praying? or should I start going to MFM??? I just don't know where to start from.

Do you need to go to a church to seek God#s face?_ Cant you do it in your room by going on your knees and praying_?....I dont know how to Interprete dreams but i dont think your dream has to do with the kind of church you attend.
try MFM and see if there will be any improvement.
ReplyDeletePray on your own or go back to your mother church and join a group. Leave one man business alone, go to Facebook and other platform and hear chilling stories about most of these one man owned só called churches.

I am not sure what seeking God’s face means for you. Fasting and prayer will start the process. Have you committed a spiritual offence, are you in the process of making a big decision?
ReplyDeleteLike Stella, I do not think this has anything to do with a physical destination, but a spiritual one. Start wherever you are, in bed, in the kitchen, on your journey to work. The kingdom is within you, so start where you are and stop seeking for a physical destination. The situation is getting urgent so do. It waste time, start today.
Poster,go to mfm as directed, I haven't seen anyone go to mfm,be focused and don't have testimonies, even rccg, go their monthly holyghost service, yearly conventions and congresses, I ho yo both and my life have gotten a lot of testimonies both spiritually and physically, God is beside you if you can seek Him with all your ❤️ heart.

Going back to God after a break from His presence can be daunting. But what you need to remember is God never took a break from you, he never abandoned you. He's not man that will say, "oh so you're coming to me now because you want something abi?" No, he's ever ready to welcome you back with open arms. Remember he's the one who left the 99 to find the one sheep who strayed away.
ReplyDeleteSee everything that brings you back to God as good. Your dream may have been scary but thank God that it has led you to seek God. You don't necessarily need to go anywhere to start. You can start in your room, the gospel of John is a great place to start from because the book really tells you of Jesus and His love. You can read the Psalms. If you feel like you can't pray, you can write down verses or write down your feelings in a journal. God knows and He sees and He's near.
The Holy Spirit also helps us to pray when we are lost for words. Pray that God renews his Spirit in you and ask Him for help.
If you have the Bible app (from Youversion) on your phone, you can search for a plan that you feel speaks to your situation. And then read the devotional from that plan and use it to pray to God.
If you also feel led to fast, even if just for a day, do so, as fasting makes us utterly reliant on God and provides clarity to hear God better. You don't have to fast the whole day. Just do whatever you feel comfortable with.
Just remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and those who are crushed in spirit. He's not hiding from you. He's not playing games with you. He's there and he wants a close relationship with you so run boldly to the throne of mercy so that you may find help. The curtain has been torn and you have full unhindered access to the father because you have a mediator in Jesus whose blood speaks better things for your life.
It has nothing to do with church but your personal relationship with God
ReplyDeleteEven me i wonder.. seeking God is personal..take your time with Him seriously..pray,fast, worship, listen to preachers that minister to you..

Go back to Catholic church.. Mass is once a week. You can also look for an out station
ReplyDeleteyou will not get a true spiritual experience in the catholic church...stay at home and read your bible for like say 2 weeks...read, pray and fast....then look for a bible believing church and start attending. the catholic church is just doctrines and rituals

DeleteThere’s this peace I’ve discovered once it’s Sunday and I find myself in church, worshipping God, I can’t explain it. It’s actually refreshing. Please look for a bible believing church in ur area and keep trying until you find one you feel at home in. Trust me, once you find it, you will know!

Why not ask God to show you God
There are some churches you enter and your spirit will just be at peace there. Try mfm to see how it goes.
ReplyDeleteDreams give us directions depending. But you already have an instruction to pray. And then the 2nd dream your Mum led you to Mfm. This however doesn't mean you should join them. But you can fellowship with them especially during their deliverance service.

Jeremiah 33:3 says call to me and I will answer, and show you great and mighty things you do not not know. Take a fast 6am - 12 or 3pm. With this scripture ask God to speak to you what He wants to tell you.
Pls don't ignore the dream.
I receive instructions from my dreams 70% of the time. However, i always have to pray to inquire more .

ReplyDeleteif you believe the voice or person that said seek God is the same one who directed you to MFM why are you here asking questions? MFM might just be the place you need for this season of your life and then you can be instructed to move on...Do not go back to the catholic church
ReplyDeleteGo to mfm 5day deliverance first(prayer city).It will open your eyes to things you never knew before. From there you will decide whether to continue with them or not. But know you will engage in 3days dry fasting. you must testify, talking from experience.

My dear, if you leave Catholic Church, you go waka taya..funny thing is, you won't even know what you are looking for. The peace you get from mass, you can't find it anywhere.

In the second dream, you were told where.
I do not know if your mum attend MFM in real life but what's clear is this is not a chronicle. It's a clear instruction . It's simple divine leading .
Remove your bias for church/churches and follow the simple leading of the HolySpirit .
Overanalyzing will kill the instruction
Start by reading the entire bible and pray every minute of the day, fast too if youcab. I am new in Christ and wish for everyone else to do same. Glad you chose his path
