Actor KOK Explains Why First Salaries Should Go To Parents And Not Pastors..

  1. If you give God your first fruit is never bad
if you give to your parent your first fruit no issues
why do some people mistake what one give to God as given to the pastor
whatever you give to God, do not look at what the pastor will do with it
If you want to gift to your pastor, write his name on it and drop it for him or gift him directly.

    1. You can't give God money. He doesn't demand for money and he won't be needing our money . He only needs your life dedicated to serving him.

  2. I agree with him. It's the right thing to do. We learn everyday.

    1. Hahahaha, Eka me sef no give everything to them oh. I just took the money to them, my papa bless me, then took about five hundred naira out of about 25k, gave me the rest.

I don't do tithe as I do not believe my blessings are attached to it. Why should I be paying tithe every month because I am expecting blessings from my Father?
Does not paying tithe stop His grace and mercy on you? "Those who know their God shall do exploits".

You will see a person who genuinely needs financial assistance, NO, you won't give him/her because you believe that until you take that 10% to your place of worship, only then will God bless you. Yimu, keep deceiving yourself! Help your neighbour first, as you do so, you are doing God's work. Whether He blesses you or not!

I would never talk down on those who believe in it, I give to the needy every month, and I see God's blessings EVERYDAY in my life.

    2. I am a mother of 3. Maybe I have lived outside of Nigeria for too long, but it is my responsibility to provide for the children I brought into this world. They do not owe me their first salary. I do not need it. You do not praise a fish for swimming. Do not understand why parents think they are doing their kids a favor by taking care of them. If you do not want to take care of anyone, don’t have a child. I will even assist my children with a down payment for their first house etc. encourage them to live with me after graduation to save money. Will Dangote ask his children for their first salary? Before you come for me. I took care of my mother till she died & still taking care of my father. But it stops with me.

  4. Giving to God (Not pastors) and giving to your parents are two different things and they both attract favor from God.
I gave my first salary to my parents when I was 16 after waec. I worked as a sales girl in a grocery store and earned 3,500 monthly this was in 2005. I gave it all to my mum who then handed it to my dad. They called me into their bedroom, asked me to kneel down and prayed heavily for me. My father said something I will never forget, he said “Before the need will arise, financial doors will open for you “
Till today, I have not known a better yesterday. Even as they are both deceased, their prayers hasn’t stopped working for me.
Give to your parents, bless your pastors, pay your tithe, help the needy and watch favor follow you.

  5. Is it not their responsibility to train you? That’s good though but I’m not doing anymore. Some parents are so ungrateful and all they do is take take take without even trying to find out how you’re doing?

  7. Nigerians are insufferable. They can give it to pastors or flush it down the toilet for all I care. Useless people.
